  11. I've finally made it to onederland! Current weight is 199 pounds I'll take it! Go me, go me
  12. Wow you look phenomenal! This post is an inspiration to me especially since our starting stats are almost identical. I'm 7 weeks post op hw 250 sw 237 cw 219...making progress but I think I may be a slow loser. I can only hope to look as awesome as you in the future! Question though, how tall are you?

  14. I went through the exact same thing so I definitely can relate. I was very obsessive with weighing myself during the pre-op stage. Every morning I would weigh and if I didn't see the number I expected I would freak. Even went as far as calculating how much needed to be lost per day to hit my goal. So....After a week of everything going according to my plan when I weighed one morning and gained 3 pounds I freaked out! My advice to you: trust your surgeon's program, trust yourself, drink lots of Water, and stay off the scale. Once I told myself to calm down, I got right back on track and had my surgery April 7th. You got this, don't worry! Before you know it, this will all be behind you and you'll be sleeved. Best of luck to you!
  15. I was sleeved on Monday April 7 because I couldn't hold down any liquids or medications I had to stay until Wednesday. I feel OK today just very very tired and jittery. I have zero appetite or even head hunger....yet lol
  16. I had my surgery on Monday as well. I never anticipated begin in this much pain or this miserable but I have to keep reminding myself that this too shall pass. I'm a new sleever as well so I don't have a lot advice to give other than repeat these words "this too shall pass". Hope you start feeling better soon!
  17. Thanks everyone. Surgery was on Monday and I've been miserable ever since lol. Vomiting is not a good look....can't go home until it stops. Second guessing my decision but I guess that is relatively normal.

  19. After 7 months of playing the waiting game, I am finally getting sleeved tomorrow. I would like to be excited but my nerves are all over the place. Also although I've lost 12 pounds on the pre op diet I failed to hit the number my surgeon is requiring of me and I'm scared he will cancel my surgery. Has anyone else been in this situation? Anywho, Hoping all goes well and am in need of some positive vibes!
  20. Hello All - I'm officially a December Sleever!!! My date is 12/16/13. I'm sooo excited and scared at the same time! Just sharing the great news!
  21. Hello all, needing to vent some frustrations I'm having during this journey. I have BCBS IL and they are doing everything imaginable to deny my surgery. It first started when my insurance coordinator tried to verify that I had the benefit. It took four calls for them to tell her yes. Then it took 2 weeks to pre-authorize my psych eval. Now after I've completed all required pre-op appointments, they are back to saying I don't have the benefit in my policy. A couple phone calls later, they again say I have it but they denied me cause I didn't complete required appointments. . . Although I have. This is so frustrating and I'm about to give up! Has anyone else had to deal with anything like this?
  22. Reading all these posts about passing the eval immediately after the first meeting has me super worried. I have to do a follow up appointment for additional tests. Hope that's not a bad sign!
  23. Do you have to have a follow up appointment for additional "tests". I have to go in on monday and I am not sure what to expect.
  24. Has anyone dealt with bcbs of Illinois? I had a difficult time getting them to confirm that I even had the benefits with the insurance coordinator. Really worried the won't approve me.
