  1. Meant to say I'm seeing them on Monday. Autocorrect can be so weird. Anyway' date=' are you feeling full on small amounts of food now? It's my biggest concern, that I'll be the one sleever in history who still has a huge appetite!![/quote']

I'm now on pureed foods and finally able to calm the hunger with something other than a Protein shake- though i still have to drink them to get all the Protein requirement in- i'm surprised with how little i'm eating- and feeling satisfied! Sounds like a lot of us on this app have that same concern about stretching our stomaches! How are you doing???

How are all aug 26th sleevers doing????

  2. I was sleeved on Aug 28...I have stomach pains when I eat which makes it really uncomfortable. I also can't stand cold drinks but they are my favorite' date=' especially since its so hot. I am already sick of the liquid diet thin and ready to move on to some REAL food. If I can at least get some seafood soon I will be satisfied. Other than those complaints I'm good. I went for my post op yesterday, 1 day shy of a week and I was already down 14.5lbs!!![/quote']

I feel your pain! I was sleeved on the 26th and can't wait to meet with the surgeon and move on to "pureed" foods- i want real food too! This liquid thing is not making me feel satisfied- i feel sooooo hungry!!! I've been religiously following the doctors orders as well and don't believe i've lost that much weight either :/ and i feel hungry!

  3. I'm new to this site myself- was sleeved 8/26...feeling much better today; i'd say the first week and a half was hell- and there were moments where I was asking myself- "Why did I do this to myself!?" But...today...8 days post op i'm feeling happy...optimistic...an a whole lot better! Looking for people to go through this journey with me too...

  4. I'm 9 days post op and initially my back was hurting baaaad...It was hard to walk, breathe, sleep etc. I had pillows all around me and propped myself up to sleep- it made it better; these last couple of nights i've been putting pillows underneath me, and the sides...everywhere! And i've slept so much better!!! You can never have to many pillows :) what i also found with the back pain was that it was actually trapped air...we went out for a good walk last night and lo and behold i'm feeling muuuch better today! Good luck and hope you get some reflief :)
