  1. Hang in there. Probably time to switch something up. It slows down for everyone at a certain point, but if you keep your body guessing you can get it going again.

  8. My surgeon used a 38 french bougie. I haven't had any issues, so I guess it doesn't matter to me! lol
  9. I used to LOVE coke zero, I have been clean for over 5 months...I'm 4 months post op. It helped me that I started weaning a few months before surgery though...

  12. I have a blabbermouth coworker like that. I had to set her straight real quick. She hasn't said another word since. I don't mind telling most people, but like I told her its for ME to decide. She can feel free to share anything she wants about herself but leave me out of it!
  13. One week...but the answer is when you feel up to it. :-)
  14. I'm 3.5 months out and I've lost 51 pounds since surgery 10/2 and 61 pounds since my preop appt 9/23. I started pretty slow but my weight loss has been picking up as of late. I have to admit the 2 and 3 week stalls really test your mind and spirit. I just usually curse at the scale and wait it out! LOL! SW:263 CW: 212 GW:150-160 (I plan to go into maintenance mode between 155-160 then have plastics)
  15. I went back after 2 weeks...no issues here! Although my job is moderately sedentary...
  16. Great post. I don't think I would recommend this surgery per se either...I am open and honest and try to stress that its not a miracle surgery when people ask about it. Especially to the ones that ask you how much you have lost every.single.day.
  17. Thanks for sharing your story and I'm glad you're in the road to recovery!

  20. I also had my cycle a week before surgery, then my cycle came as scheduled but was shorter and lighter! I hope that continues... I'm only 1 month out so I don't have a pattern to share...
  21. I cycle...haven't since surgery on 10-2 plan to do 12 miles on Tuesday...I do 8-18 miles each ride about 12mph average...my path has a net increase altitude of at least 500ft. I am going to start training rides for a 40 miler for breast cancer next Sept!
  22. Yeah I'm 3.5 weeks out...I know it's not soft it will be a long 4 weeks before I can try it, and the no popcorn thing depresses me! Lol
