  1. I'm in the same boat. I find myself eating every 2-3 hours as well. . Everyday is an adventure but I think it's my new norm for now. Thanks for starting this thread it's good to know others are experiencing the same thing.
  2. 60 pounds in two months!! You should be super proud fun size candy and all!
  3. rensterness- When I got home from the hospital I tried one and it was thee worst thing I'd ever had in my life. I'd bought three boxes but was reluctant to just throw them away. A couple of days ago I was cleaning out the fridge and decided to give em one more shot before tossing them. They tasted just fine! I had the same experience with plain ole Water it was disgusting and I was so sad. A few days later it was fine. Lesson learned: your taste buds are haywire after surgery. However, between the pre-op and liquids post op I've had enough sugar free things to last for a while. I'll have a Popsicle if I find myself needing to get those last few ounces in before bed. Thanks for the suggestion! BTW, how many ounces are in a Popsicle? Any clue? Oh and Jello too.
  4. My biggest challenge is getting in enough liquids. I've never been a big drinker heck I drank an average of about 30 ounces BEFORE surgery. So getting a minimum of 48 ounces in per day is extremely hard with my new stomach. However, the fear of dehydration is a powerful motivator. I don't ever want to experience it so I'm working it out.
  5. I like your swag in the after pic Butter and Christina (OP) you look amazing!!
  6. Hi. Will please add me as well? TekeillaC@Yahoo.Com
  7. I'm with with you all. Sometimes I think he left too much of my stomach in. I keep looking at my post-op stomach X-ray and thinking, "this lil thing has got to be full, there's no way I should be this hungry!" But I am and it's NOT head hunger it's "I've been running around all day slept through breakfast, worked through lunch, and it's 5:30 pm what the h**l is going on?" type of hunger. I'm find myself eating a small meal/snack every 2-3 hours and averaging 800 calories per day.
  8. I have that same problem. Hopefully someone responds with a solution.
  9. I think it's our new normal. I never burped before but now it's a regular thing.
  10. Thanks Nikki if I think of anything else I'll reach out.
  11. Awesome! I started at the same weight. I'm almost three weeks out from surgery. It's hard to imagine that this could be me in 8 short months. What's your meal/exercise strategy?
  12. Surgery Date: October 16, 2013 HW: 368 SW: 345 CW: Unknown (I refuse to buy a scale cause I'll drive myself crazy. Will weigh-in with surgeon on 11/19.) GW: 175-200 (depends on how things shift and settle) I'm still struggling with getting all of my fluids in. Otherwise I'm feeling good!
  13. I planned to take breaks and stretch etc. Thanks for your input.
  14. Hi. Does anyone have any travel restrictions post-op? I'm thinking about taking a road trip next month. It'll be an approx 10 hour drive. I'll be a lil over one month out. Thoughts?
