I could've written this post myself. I'm also two months out and down 42 pounds. Some days I see it but most days I don't. However my clothes are really baggy and I'm down to three pairs of work pants. So today I had to buy more and I'm down a size!!! Like you said the numbers tell the story. -
Christmas - New Year Challenge
Sleeve Siren replied to Bea Amaya's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Good morning, I vowed not to buy a scale until my six month anniversary because I knew that would drive myself crazy weighing myself every day. Then I decided to do this challenge and yet I did not have a way to accurately measure my results. A good friend of mine that also had WLS told me that "winners keep score" which really stuck with me. I finally broke down and bought a scale last night so today is weigh-in Wednesday ???? Drumroll please…I've lost another 13.4 pounds!!! Keep in mind that I haven't been on a scale since my last surgeon appointment a month ago. So this does NOT reflect one week worth of weight loss. I must admit that I was (am) one of those sleevers who had doubts about how fast I was going to see results but being able to say that I'm down 42.4 pounds in just two months makes me feel ecstatic. I'm so excited about where this sleeve journey is going to take me so hang in there everybody and just know that as long as you're doing what you're supposed to do the weight will fall off. -

Happy Anniversary!! Thanks for posting this. I'm two months post-op as of yesterday and I've already experienced everything you've discussed here. It's so helpful to know that others go through this too. Thanks again! -

OCTOBER SLEEVERS- How Ya Doin'?
Sleeve Siren replied to TxCalico's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I'm right there with you. Sleeved 10/16 and only down 29 pounds. However, I do not have great restriction. There are days when I don't get all of my fluids & protein in and I need to be more consistent with working out. Hopefully the weight loss will increase with my efforts. -
I'm taking Optisource. They're $28 at Walgreens for a one month supply, however, you may be able to download a coupon for like $5 off from their website. You have to take four of them but they're orange flavored and actually taste ok.

No not at all! I know the stereo type for blondes is "dumb". You're definitely not that. Hope you're not offended. If so I apologize. -
October Sleevers! How Much Have You Lost?
Sleeve Siren replied to AdrianaNaji21's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Hello all, Sleeved 10/16 HW: 368 SW: 350 CW: 339 Down 29 pounds. I was disappointed to find out that I'd only lost 6 pounds since my last appt on 10/22. I don't weigh myself at home so perhaps I'm in one of those dreaded stalls? IWW as cleared for full excercise so the next weigh in should be much more significant. -
