  1. Thanks guys. I know there is no turning back, but the what ifs are taking over my brain!! I can't voice my concern to my husband because he will just say it was my decision oh well. One of my best friends is having the surgery in a month so I don't want to discourage her! And my mother would freak out if I even mentioned I had a doubt. Sigh. I appreciate your posts. I need people who sleeved a month ago to give me some feedback!! Lol. Maybe I'll go browse the August boards.......

  2. So...1 week post-op and I am freaking out a little today. Starting to doubt my choice and driving myself crazy. Did I really need to do this? I wasn't that overweight was I? Even with this what if I only lose like 40 lbs? I could do that with nutrisystem. I am not one to need food, but today I just want a bite. Of something. Anything. A sandwich. A salad. An English muffin. Ugh. Maybe it's being home and tired and sore. I don't know. I'm hoping it passes but I really just feel like sleeping the day away so I can't think about it. It's like post partum depression over here! I've only lost 5 lbs. a week out. Maybe that's part of what's bugging me too. I don't know. Just looking for a way to vent and share. :0( thanks

  3. Hi everyone. Joining the poop problem posts. Started my mag citrate at 6 ish tonight. Prob finished about 7:45. It's 10:38. Nothing. I have only had 1 meal of solids in the last 2 days but nothing?!?! Anyone have it take this long? Can't drink after midnight - approaching fast! Should I down another bottle?????

  4. I'm scheduled for monday at 1:00pm a little frustrated about that and let myself eat a half slice of pizza' date=' so stressed and anxious right now, wondering of I'm better off not getting it. I'm not sure what to do and I may have screwed myself eby eating that small slice and I've done so well so far[/quote']

You didn't screw yourself. Just make sure you don't give in tomorrow. It's nerve wracking, exciting, crazy, stressful, and just about any other emotion you can come up with. How did the pizza really taste? Probably not so wonderful! After Monday you won't even WANT that pizza for a loooong time. We are all the type of people thAt have made excuses to not do things our whole life - diet, exercise, cook, etc. make this a reason you HAVE to get surgery! I am sure you will do just fine! You only have ONE MORE DAY! Take a deep breath, forgive yourself and get ready for your new life.

  5. Hi' date=' I will be sleeved on September 18th. I am really excited and scared and every other emotion that goes with it. My surgery is less than two weeks from my initial appointment with the doctor on September 5th. I really have to move fast to fill all the requirements. Night of initial appointment had to start 2 week diet. A few days later went for gallbladder tests and upper GI test, Thursday go for pre-op class and register at hospital with more bloodwork. Then the following Wednesday morning is surgery. I am from a small town in Louisiana[/quote']

Wow that's crazy fast!! My first appt was June 10th and that doesn't include the seminar I had to attend in may and I have the same date as you!! Good luck fellow 9/18!!!

  6. Good luck to everyone having their surgery today!!

I'm new to the site' date=' kind of new to this whole thing all around. My nutritionist recommended surgery July 18th, and it's scheduled for next week, Sept 18th. All the tests are done, insurance approved, meeting with the surgeon and nutritionist one last time tomorrow. I can't believe how much my life is changing in just two months.

Luckily I only have one day of liquids-only pre-op. Oh and I'm from Illinois. Looking forward to keeping in touch with all of you September Sleevers out there so we can help each other along :)[/quote']

I am the 18th too! I wrote the 20th earlier - I have no idea why lol. I only have one day of pre-op too! In MA for surgery. Best of luck to all!
