  1. Hi all....Haven't posted in forever..nice to be back. I am about 25 lbs from my goal of 160. I am having trouble getting there. I don't really need a fill (i don't think), but I am straying and having issue with candy and a few Cookies here and there. :huytsao Being almost 2 years out I know what I can eat and how to get it down. I am exercising almost every day. I do cardio treadmill 3 times a week. Pilates once a week and flex and tone once a week(aerbobic with light weights). I also do weight training 2-3 times a week. I am going to start tracking food intake. It may be I am doing mindless eating. Anyone having any last 25lb eating plans????


  2. This is my experience with fills..all I do is get on table with a pillow the small of my back. I then take a deep breath, hold it and push my belly out. The dr. then has a fine needle which he basically takes aim and shoots. Pulls back to make sure that previous Fluid is still there and then puts the rest in. The actual in and out takes 2 minutes. He has never missed. He does feel around a bit. It pinches just about hte same as a bee (without the after pain.) How the heck are you getting fills????:confused:


  3. Here is an 11 months post band update picture. This is my new Liz size 16w "Itsy bitsy teeny weeny pink polka dot tankini"!!! I still have that roll in the front along with love handles but I am seriously so critical of myself. I'm trying on a "What the hell attitude" as I just celebrated my 46th birthday and am practicing for my 50th RED HAT SOCIETY birthday.

    Could someone please tell me how to put pix side by side??

  4. Please put me on the list. I am at 203 lbs and that makes it 105 lbs since banding in July of 05. I am almost at my mini goal of 199lbs by 06/27/06. It it my birthday present to myself to be out of the 200 plus pounds range. It's going to be close. I tend to lose in chunks rather than steady loss. It's a wait and see game for me. It's That time of month for me and for you gals in your perimenopausal stage you know what that can mean. A belated gift will be OK. On the plus side of things..I am only 38 lbs from my goal..Who ever would have thought it???? I am speechless. I don't ever recall only being 38 lbs overweight. HMMMMMM:faint:


  5. I asked my Dr about gurgling as I do have it sometimes and I mean all day even if I'm not eating at the time. He said banded people do have more internal gas than others. There is the tendency for us not to burp as much, especially the tighter the band. The gas that is normally expelled burping will now travel south to be expelled from the bottom! Thus...the gurgling. Some foods make it worse, especially greens. Hope that helps.


  6. I'm at 99lb!!!!! gone...gone for good. Maybe by Monday I will be a new member of the 100 lbs gone. Lots of walking this weekend planned. We are going to Boston for the Weekend...Red Sox game, Duck boats, a nite out dancing.....Perhaps that will jog a good weight loss. Have a great Memorial Day Weekend all!!


  7. I have a pair of 22W Jones New York Stretch Jeans that are really in great shape except for a very small zipper repair. Not even the zipper, it is the stitching on the side of the zipper. Easy machine job.

    The other pair is a light weight grey pair of side zip pants in a 22T. They are from Avenue.

    Can anyone use these? Probably more 22s available too as I clean out....

    Oh ya....Jone Pants are brown. Cute with pink or teal


  8. I would love to join you guys too...I am from just outside of Worcester, MA....How about meeting in the middle. Is Worcester in the middle...It's about 45 min from Springfield area and 45 min or so from the other way. I cheated though..its only 20 min for me. Hope we can do this!!!
