  1. Sending up prayers for you...
  2. PLEAAAASSSSEE lets open up more specific threads about issues specific to our culture, but I am concerned that with the new site changes many are going to get frustrated and give up...
  3. So what if your partner is still heavy and your losing? Is sex more awkward? My fear is our energy levels won't match up
  4. Me too...anyfix for that issue
  5. I thought I lost you guys....
  6. Sending up prayers for a successful surgery!
  7. Silly neo thought it said 2014!
  8. Damn January 2013= I thought Jan 2014..
  9. PLEAAAASSSSEE just make sure you let it be known to all if you start the group, because I have come to love this thread and dont want to lose out on the conversations and support as I am sure others feel the same. Thanks for starting this
  10. Simply amazing! Congratulations
  11. The worst thing about gaining and losing so much weight over the course of my life is that I have so many stretch marks...I'm still pre op, but just wondering how any of you have coped with them post operatively? How bad are they when you lose 1/2 of yourself?
  12. Just watching yesterdays Biggest Loser episode and I cried like a baby...it may sound crazy but in some way I feel like by planning on getting sleeved I'm cheating. But I've tried so many things and failed so I know having surgery will permanently change my life and weight issues..I just feel sad when I see others lose traditionally
  13. Lie is an such an ugly word...I will fully disclose my decision to a few close, supportive people....I will NOT fully disclose my surgery to those that do not have a need. I will tell them that I made a permanent decision to lose weight & regain my health by making drastic lifestyle changes. #Nuffsaid
  14. Best of luck on your surgery!
  15. So excited...insurance approved, all testing completed..going to see surgeon tomorrow to go over last questions before scheduling surgery..only downside I will have to wait until January 2014 to be sleeved...trying to remember patience is a virtue #SoReady2LOSE
  16. laura-ven SleeveFox gmanbat teeny1202 God Bless you ALL!
  17. I know it sounds CRAZY..but today I took a trip to Sams Club to do my shopping and as I walked around it was like I was at a funeral. Now what makes this even more strange is I am still preop..but as I approach scheduling my surgery I am full of doubts & irrational fears..like never being able to digest certain food...as I read through the site the one food continues to be a issue is chicken (I'm just throwing grapes in for the hell of it since my NUT said they can be problematic)..so PLEAAAASSSSEE tell me someone can get chicken through thier sleeve & how long post op did it take (and yes I already know the disclaimer-EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT) I just don't know if I can live without the HOLY bird! O_o
  18. You look AMAZING! your smile post op gives me the encouragement to keep going. I'm looking at a Jan 2014 surgery date, bytthe process has been tough & exhaustig. Keep up the good work
