  1. I'm down 57 lbs since surgery. I weigh 135 now! I haven't weighed that little since 3rd grade, I'm pretty sure ????! My goal is 130 so I'm almost there, yippee. I do worry about regain the most since I can eat more now.
  2. It's getting better because I'm aware of it, but I still catch myself doing it sometimes while I'm driving..
  3. It gets better everyday! Try not to worry too much because before you know it you'll be feeling great. Best of luck!
  4. I had surgery at the end of january and I started noticing this weird hair pulling thing about a month ago. I am gonna talk to my doctor about it as soon as I can for sure. Thanks for your replys. I feel like such a wierdo :/
  5. Has anyone started pulling out their own hair?!! I guess it's an actual addiction and I don't know why I have suddenly started doing it... I am hoping someone else can relate here...
  6. Yes, I'm glad I'm not alone in my struggles! I will check out your videos and you check out my blogwww.ihadgastricsleevewls.blogspot.com I will try the protein drink, how many calories does it have?
  7. I am so glad you posted this! I was sleeved January 27. I'm down 37.5 lbs since surgery and I can eat whatever I want also just very little. I wish I couldn't eat some foods and sometimes I think I should have has bypass... I've been walking a little but not as much as I would like to. I started taking diet pills for energy because I'm so tired all the time. Did alcohol make u feel sick at all? I haven't touched it because I'm scared to but I really want a drink sometimes
  8. Hope all is well ???? Ihadgastricsleevewls.blogspot.com
  9. I'm 5 weeks out and have three boys ages 11, 6, and 1. It has been challenging for me and I'm exhausted! I work and am in the last 3 months of school! Crazy life. Hopefully we can motivate each other!

  11. No I did not have any pain picking things up aside from a little pinch in my abdomen when things were a little heavy.
  12. I had surgery in California and I just talked to my nut yesterday and asked her the same question! Her answer surprised me because she said I never told you a specific # of protein grams! She said I must have read that on the internet and what their program requires is 1/4 cup of lean protein 3 times a day that's it! No counting or snacking to try to reach a protein goal. She even said that 60 grams is a lofty goal for any one ! Anyway I was relieved. So anyway I wouldn't worry too much about it until you are a little further out. Of course I think the more protein the better but at least I know nothing bad is gonna happen to me if I don't eat that much .
  13. I am four weeks post op today and I was cleared TODAY for picking up my 25lb 12 month old! Yippee it was a long wait but it's over!
  14. I am also really cold! I have my jacket on all day and sleep with an electric blanket!
  15. I am 3 weeks post op and I can finally button my jeans that I wore before the surgery even though I have lost 15 pounds. It has got to be the swelling.
  16. My surgery weight was 192 and I am 3 weeks post op and have lost 15 pounds so I suppose it is slower for those of us who have less than a hundred pounds to lose. That is just me though, I'm curious to here from others.
  17. Good Luck to you! Remember that if it feels aweful the first few days it will get better! I got better everyday but the first 3 days were miserable for me I thought I would never feel better but I did. I am almost 3 weeks post op and have lost 14lbs! http://ihadgastricsleevewls.blogspot.com/
  18. I also only told a few people but I figure when someone asks me directly I will tell them. I don't want to lie about it, however I lied about why I needed a week off of work... I have a close family member who lied about it and honestly it made it into a bigger deal than it really was. Everyone talked more smack knowing that she lied instead of that she did it. So I am going to try to avoid that by just telling people the truth when they ask me how I lost this weight. Or if someone asked me directly did you have weight loss surgery of course I will say yes. It is complicated, I get that but for all the people out there trying to do it themselves and struggling I feel like I should tell the truth when asked because it just might convince them to go ahead and do it themselves or at least look into it. Everybody secretly wants a little help or a little cheat... I know I did! http://ihadgastricsleevewls.blogspot.com/
  19. Oh my that is good news! I hope I get text messages soon! ihadgastricsleevewls.blogspot.com/
  20. Everything looks and sounds good but of course I don't eat it. I do however get kinda moody and cranky about it. Also my side and main incision hurt when I bend over and I still take a few pain pills a day
  21. I am also in pain and craving all kinds of food. I had surgery on the 29th. http://ihadgastricsleevewls.blogspot.com/
