Discovered my 1st food NEMESIS tonight. I Had some spicy soup and DUMPING was immediate! Always ate a lot of spicy stuff prior to VSG. That may well be over.

Brings back not so fond memories. My first run-to-the-bathroom-bring-it-back-up was with hot and sour soup in a chinese resturaunt. Always a big favorite before surgery, it was the one saving food I could actually taste during the taste bud dampening period of chemo therapy. I was sad to see it move into the enemy camp.

Finally! Surgery scheduled for December 2... Doc was all booked up for Nov!! I'll take it!!!

FINALLY! Will get my date on Friday. Lost blood work was the hold up. Have to get more tomorrowl.

Update: 2nd opinion from new cardiologist. He doesn't think a heart cath is necessary at all. But since I've had 3 round of chemo in a 6 year period, he does think I should get a CT Angiogram. Non invasive and painless. Cool. I can live with that...lol

CT Scan Results: No CANCER found in torso or lower limbs! One giant step closer to surgery!.

Update 08/26/13 PCP signed off today, faxed papers over to Doc! Oncologist called WL doctor and gave a verbal agreement but wants to wait for written approval when he receives the results of my latest CT Scan of Chest/Abdomen/Pelvis & MRI of brain next week just to make sure there is no Cancer reoccurrence. Then it's just the psych eval & NUT..all else is done.
