WAS APPROVED -just got the call. Pre-op class/seminar on the 20th; then a date asap. One hold out-my therapist is 2 months late with my evaluation. Grr

That's right, damn you men! Haha. I am so happy for you! Onederland seemed like such a dream at that start, now we are both here. Been fighting with this website for a week, now I am finally back. Been hitting Planet Fatness (old habits die hard) here in the Bush three times a week. Struggling with snacking, but getting a better grip on it. Almonds are like crack to me, I need to keep them out of the house. And my hair is falling out in clumps now. What is that about? I thought it would be over by now. I don't regret for one minute having this surgery. I wish I had done it sooner. Rensterness, we need to meet for coffee.< /p>

I got super lucky during my two week. I got the worst cold I've ever had and was allowed to take Nyquil and Tylenol PM. I slept for almost 4 days of it. Start licking grocery cart handles, I am sure you can do the same!

I was beginning to think I was the only one here! Doing great on this end. I have really had no issues or complications. I went through the "three week stall" and came out unscathed. Steadily dropping, with no hunger and no food issues.
I'm glad you are excited, you're like 9 days away! Anxious.....yup, been there too. I just wanted the surgery over so I could start this journey. This has been life changing for me, even at just shy of 2 months post-op. This site has been a Godsend, my life line to the sleeved world. I am so excied for you!

My sister is having her sleeve done as I type this! I am sooooooo excited for her and to have another member on the loser's bench!!! She not just my blood sister, now shes my sleeve sister and that is equally as exciting! We are so blessed!

I can relate to this. Sometimes I feel like I am afraid of succeeding. I think I fear the perceived expectations people will have of me when I lose weight. Like everyone is watching me and judging me. I just want to crawl back into my safe zone.
About 8 years ago I went on a diet and exercise plan and lost 90 pounds. I looked fabulous. I had so much trouble with haters. I even got talked to by my manager about "toning" it down. She told me that I should want people in my meetings to remember what I have to say not what I look like. WTF?
This time around I am not going to let anything discourage me. Haters can go pound sand.

Some Halloween Challenge Stats:
- Participation by week was as follows: Wk1 - 43, Wk2 - 47, Wk 3 - 43, Wk4 - 41, Wk5 - 44, Wk6 - 35, Wk7 - 23
- The number of people that met or exceeded their goal was 15 (out of 23 reporting in so far this week), or 65%!
- The total amount of weight lost by the group was a whopping 660.3 lbs !!! (More was lost, no doubt, since some dropped out early.)
