AND FINALLY ROCKING A SIZE 18 SKIRT TO WORK TODAY! Only took 47 pounds LOL!

Okay the weigh in today is.............2lbs down! Bet if I went to the bathroom I would have hit my goal!! Stupid constipation!!! Oh well, I am happy any way!!

It's been a long time since I posted but I wanted to make sure I come back and update you all on my progress. I reached my main goal this morining, I'm finally below 200 pounds!! I'm 199 but I'll take it!
I had my surgery on 8/1/12 and have since lost a total of 143 pounds. Feel free to ask me anything... I was so happy I found this site when I considered having my surgery and pictures were a main factor in my decision as words can only mean so much but a picture can show a lot more.

I know what you mean about going MIA in family memories. That purple shirt, I thought "ah ha! I will get the 4X to cover ALL the rolls of fat" and then someone happened to snap this photo of me at my cousin's daughter's 2 year old bday party and I went HOLY SH*T I guess that 4X wasn't really working for me.
But that L, yeah it's not a M or S or XS, but I will gladly take it!

Don't worry...I'm not gonna go "big country" on y'all. I'll keep a few clothes on.

I only weigh myself on Sundays and I have fear everytime I step on the scale....today I saw a number 1 in front of 98.....day of surgery aug 29 I was 225 and today 198.....love my sleeve

Hi everyone! I just wanted to share my story. This past Tuesday marked my one year anniversary. BEST. DECISION. EVER. I have been off all diabetes medications since the day of my surgery. 2 needles and 2 doses of metformin daily. DONE. I am down to a size 8, and a medium shirt. I've never felt better. I eat what I want, but obviously in much smaller quantities. Good luck to anyone that is taking this journey. It's been a hell of a ride!!

I'm 7 months out today and could not be more pleased with the way this has gone for me. I followed what I was told with a few slip ups and I'm down 102 lbs and 3 lbs from being under 200 lbs for the first time since I don't know perhaps Jr High.

I just got back from 2 weeks in Paris, where I felt like the most enormous and dumpy thing on the street for wearing too big loose-fit boot cut jeans nearly every day.
So before I even left for home I ordered two styles of skinny Levis from Amazon, which were just delivered. And guess whose fat ass fits into a size 12 skinny jeans? Yup. ME!
I'm still bigger than all the size 0 Parisians I saw but at least I'm fashionable.
