My go to after the gym is a few hard boiled egg whites and/or string cheese. I'm no expert, so curious what others will say, too!

Morning everyone, for those who drink the green smoothies and/or juice, how long did you wait to incorporate them into your diet? I'm a little over 10 weeks out and have been cleared for all foods since week 5 but am still a little hesitant. My green smoothie consists of almond milk, ground flax meal, PB2, baby spinach, banana, strawberries and Protein powder. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Ah makes me too nervous! Please, please run this by your doctor/NUT before making the decision. I will not lie, I HATED puréed phase at the time, but I made it through and it literally seems like such a distant memory that I am embarrassed I was so dramatic about it in my head. I promise, you will feel the exact same way and be like "OK, it sucked but it was only a few days of my life." LOL Like others suggested, get creative and use those Protein shakes if necessary!

Hey Amanda, Oh She Glows (vegan lifestyle blog) has a few detox smoothie/juice recipes. I can't figure out how to put a link in here from the mobile app, but the one I have in mind was posted on 9/3 (if you go to the "Popular" tab it should pop up on the first page so you don't have to scroll through). OK, freak out mode full on. Hanging out with a guy tomorrow night (first date in seriously 2+ years). I wasn't going to allow myself to date (so messed up) until I hit 205 (I'm 233 as of this AM), but I really want to see him so I just folded. We casually dated briefly about 3 years ago. I was about 20 pounds lighter then, but trying super, super hard not to focus on that (AKA I'm obsessing over it). Need some feedback on this dress from anyone and everyone. Going to wear a cardigan of some sort over it. Thoughts? AHHHHH

OK, so the date went well! It wasn't knock my socks off amazing, but I would give it a 6.5-7. He actually is a lot funnier on the phone and in text. Maybe it was just because we hadn't seen each other in a while and it was a little awkward? Who knows? Anyways, the more important part is I felt great walking in there! I have quite a ways to go with my weight loss, but already feeling good at only about half way to my goal is more than I could have ever asked for. Thank you all again for your words of encouragement! Have a great rest of the weekend!

That's awesome! Keep on doing what you're doing! This week was pretty good for me, down 2.8. I'm 34 pounds away from 199. Got panicky last week that I couldn't do it. Just going to try my best and see what happens

Hi everyone! There may already be a thread or 2 about this, but figured couldn't hurt to throw in a suggestion/review again. I am officially obsessed with powdered peanut butter. I highly recommend it to any other former peanut butter junkies (like myself), or newbies (also like myself) who are looking to change up their boring old protein shakes. It's made the last week of my 3 liquid diet much more enjoyable! Have a good night everyone!

I downloaded this app called Waterlogged. Has helped me tremendously keep track of my water intake. I'm a freak and ridiculously competitive (with myself) that it forces me to hit my 100% goal everyday LOL. Good luck!

I'm seriously considering getting a DXA scan done to give me a baseline body composition breakdown (to compare to when I hit goal). Anyone had one done before? If yes, do you mind sharing how much you paid? I'm finding the going rate around here to be about $250 (NYC Metro.). Thanks everyone!

Ahh! So jealous you have that all included! Thank you so much for the feedback. I am going to shop around and see if I can find it cheaper. Even if I can't I think it will be $250 well spent. And your success is so inspiring by the way! 165-170 is my goal weight, too. Seems so, so far away but I'll get there eventually!

Side lunges! My booty and things have never been so sore in all my life! Haven't been doing them long enough to see if they help with cellulite, but I mean with all this soreness something has to be working!
