Mine should be sent in after Monday of next week...! I hope they are fast. I dreamed I got a call saying I was approved last night. Lol.

Mine will hopefully be submitted next week. I have my endoscopy Monday and it's the last of my requirements! I have BCBS of NC.

I tried them a year ago, and they didn't work for me. I did however go to a clinic and have laser fat revocable and that did work. I lost 2.5% body fat in three treatments. But it wasn't helpful for skin (which I was hoping).

I'm from Roanoke Rapids near Rocky Mount. I don't have a date yet but I'm having it done through Duke weightloss center in Durham in Jan.

I'm doing mine through Duke as well! I'm hoping to have mine end of Oct or Nov.

I am nervous too bc my insurance just changed their requirements and now requires 6 months of documentation but nobody can't seem to tell me if it has to be concsecutive.. Even the ladies on the phone when I call.

Has anybody been approved since they changed their documentation requirements on the 10th? If so, was your documentation consecutive? I have 6 months of documentation but it's spread out over 15 months...

Seen my surgeon once, do my psych evaluation Thursday and my EKG Friday. Haven't heard from the nutritionist yet. I have a chest x-ray and the EGD scope to do before surgery. I'll see the surgeon once more before surgery.

I work with the public on a daily basis, avid you come to realize people are a lot dumber than you think. Like, they lack common sense! You never realize how people can do and say what they do! It teaches me what NOT to do and say in public (and I've got similar comments/opinions like that regarding choices too.

I'm from Johnston County, I've met with my surgeon and currently doing my testing and such.

I tried wraps before and they don't work, but I loved my compression garment but it didn't make any difference except when I wore it.

BCBS of NC just changed their policy regarding documentation but my surgeon is going to submit mine today and see if it gets approved. I have 6 months of documentation but its not consecutive. They have been vague about what they are requiring regarding it (I called insurance myself). I'm hoping to hear something soon! I rather not wait Neil January if I can help it!

I went to mine today and was also nervous but once the surgeon came it was all good. He went over documentation and labs I gave them, my health history, current exercise and such. We decided on the surgery I am going to have and what I had left to have done (nut appt, psych appt, EKG, and endoscopy). He's also going to submit my documentation to BCBSNC to see if they approve it since they just changed their requirements 8 days ago (they require 6 months worth of documentation, but it's unclear if they require it to be consecutive or not).

BCBS of NC is changing their policy on the 10th to require 6 months and I read the new policy and it says "frequent, monthly" but not the word consecutive so I'm going to ask the surgeon when I go the 18th. I have 6 months worth in the last year but not consecutive (Sept-Dec '12, Aug & Sept '13). My doctors really trying to help me out too.

Run a full marathon. I've done half marathons but wanted to get to my goal weight to run the whole thing.
