Thanks everybody for your encouragment!!! I've sure missed everybody!!! Hope I will hit 100 down in a couple weeks. Going to call plastic surgeon soon to see just how much more weight I need to lose before I can have some skin removed!!! Also gotta see how much it will set me back and if Ins co. will pay for some of it...if not it will be a very long time before I get on to having ps done!! Still just gonna keep on the right track and the scales reading a smaller # till then!!! Wishing you all continued success!! Jamie

Hi I'm 28 years old and had several comorbities before being banded that have since gone away!! I was aproved within about 3 months after submitting to my ins company!!! I have been very pleased with my band and feel that I will be less likely to cost my ins company even more with medical since I am now healthier than ever!!!

Deffinatly think I'm tighter in the mornings and can eat more at night!!! Why I have no iea buit it deffinatly happens to me too!!

Jess you look great!! I'm curently thinking of checking into PS my self and seeing your before and afters makes me want to call the plastic surgeon tomorrow!!!! Thank you for being so brave to post these pictures. I believe they will help others to see that plastic surgery can help them feel more comfortable in their own skin!!! Be proud of who you are you have every right to be ... you look great!!!

Glad to hear I'm not the only one that has poroblems with internet in a McDonalds.... HEHE!!! I thought maybe I was missing something??? Wishing you lots of successs with your band too!!

I have never been told I couldn't drink COFFEE....However I was told to drop the regular sugar and creams in my coffee because of the extra fat and calories. I now only use Splenda and 2% milk in my coffee! I couldn't start my day with out coffee. It is what gets me going in the mornings!!!

BOY!!!! Paula.... You are up town with internet access at McDonald's ....no such luck in MISSISSIPPI!! We seem to get left out sometimes. I FEEL LIKE I LIVE UNDER A ROCK!!! HAHA!!!

Gosh Paaula thats a hard question for me to answer...I'm really interested on every ones thoughts on the subject though!!! My daughter is only 6 and I have never left her home alone. I tend to be over protective and it will probably be a long time before she is ever left by herself... I have the convience that my mom lives next door so I call and ask her to keep her for a few short minutes when needed... if not I take her with me. Parenting is so hard and such a guessing game sometimes knowing what to do is really tough!!!

Give it time after your 2nd fill you should be able to get morre restriction than you have now!! Hang in there and just use this time to learn to eat slower~ not drink with meals ect!!!! All these things will help you when you do get better restriction. Congrats on getting banded wishing you lots of success!!!

Well We go to this local chinese buffet alot and 2 different times I started my meal with egg drop soup onlt to get a golf ball and it sliming back up both times.Only did like three spoon fulls!!! Its kinda thick the way they make it with lots of egg pieces and I'm just thinking maybe the egg pieces get caught????? Scatching my head too!!! HEHE!!! It is high in Protein wish it worked for me.

Hey All I missed this thread until this morning...I reported in on another thread. I got my computer up and running again and I'm really gladcause I've missed you all soooo much!!!! Oh Donna you are so sweet. I might not know you but thats okay you are part of my LBT family now so we are not strangers anymore!! Thanks for the encouragment. I do sometimes have a hard time seeing how far I've come. I haven't forgotten it I just have a hard realizing my acomplishment I guess. I still feel fat even after losing almost 100 pounds. I know one day it will hit me wow thats really me and I'm so much smaller but some how it just doesn't seem possible. I would really like to get some extra skin removed soon. I kinda feel like the skin is continuing to hide the thin person under neath. If some of that was gone I think I would possibly look at my self differently. See that my journey was some what complete. I want to lose at least 40 more pounds...so wish me luck!!!

I am wondering since you brought up the egg drop soup subject am I the only one that can't eat it??? I eat it and it causes me to slime. its like it just keeps getting thicker and thicker and has no where to go but up?? Any ideas on why that is???

The Dr. that did the stiches kept picking on my husband and ask me if I deserved all that bad treatment he was giving me... of course he kept saying I swear I didn't do it the floor did!! HEHE!!

Michelle I can't think of someone more worthy than you for myself to look up to! You are the greatest example of a good bandster and a good "solo" bandster ever!!! I hope to follow in your your foot steps of success with or without a band your doing great!!!!

So glad you realized what was going on soon enough to get all fixed up and back on track!!Treat your band good people you never know if you could be doing something that will make you lose it!!!

Sorry I'm no help....cottage cheese doesn't like me very well. Its like i can't get it to chew up or something....kinda like scrambled eggs. It ends up coming back up..so I just don't eat it at all anymore!!!
