    Surgery date: 219.8

    CW:199.6

    Sleeved 8/12

Eating 3 meals a day' date=' maybe a small snack (edamame) and sometimes struggling with Water, but mostly I can get in 2 liters.

I have learned that a variety of stuffed chicken is my friend, lol.

I had a three week period when I gained and lost the same 3lbs. I think it was related to 1. The fact that I have the female cycling hormones 2. I think I was getting too much Protein.< /p>

This worries me a little because I am almost to that point of my cycle again.

I was getting almost 100gm of protein with meals and shakes. Now, no more shakes and I see good movement on the scale.[/quote']

We were sleeved the same day and I had the same problem. I did see a 3lb loss when my cycle ended, which was very encouraging. Great job with protein and water! I'm not even getting half of what you yet. How much are you able to eat at meal time?

  2. The things I will NOT miss about being fat include but are not limited to:)

    -----

    1. Looking at a chair and thinking 'will I end up on the floor if I sit in that?'

    2. Disappointing my kids when they want to go out. Even to the park because I'm hiding myself from the world.

    3. Not being able to get off my couch without using my hands.

    4. My double chin rubbing my chest when I eat.

    5. Having no confidence.

    6. Feeling inferior to anyone who was thinner.

    7. Feeling ashamed when I go pick up fast food for dinner (because I shouldn't eat fast food since I'm already fat...)

    8. Avoiding all swimming parties.

    9. Chub rub

    10. Constantly adjusting my tops in fear of people seeing my back fat.

    11. People staring at the things in my shopping cart.

    12. Settling for hand me downs or peoples "fat clothes" because I cant afford 60$ for a pair of pants and a shirt.

    13. Uncomfortable, ugly bra's. (Maybe I'm delusional for hoping this will change lol)

  3. Almost a week out from surgery and I'm feeling like a human again. I spent one night in the hospital but I could have stayed 2. Wednesday I was overing doing it, cooking dinner, giving my kids baths, folding laundry thinking Im sitting while doing most thing so its ok. Thursday was the same. Friday I woke up having the worst pain and thought my incisions ripped open. I actually went to the ER. Nothing was wrong but I was told to take my pain meds and take it easy. I'm really following those orders now and feel incredibly better. Drinking Water and getting in my Protein are the only things I'm worrying about. I'm down 17lbs and feeling so blessed.

  4. Well I made it through surgery and my first night! Just really tired but I've been doing my walking and breathing and they have me sitting up and sipping broth. One question for those others did you have an indention in you tummy?

I'm really tired too. Ive been sleeping off and on throughout the day. My husband and mom told me my stomach looks smaller already. Like an indentation, but we found out after the survey that I a hurnia that he had to repair so I'm guessing that's why.

  5. I survived!! Came out of surgery with no complications. It didn't seem real until I was actually in the OR. Ive got a ton of pressure under my collar bones. Its the gas. And of course my incisions hurt, Other than that pain I'm good. Easier than expected but ive been sleeping a lot. Wishing for a speedy recovery to all the other 8-12-13.sleevers ;)
