    Dreaded 6/5 month!

I had my last weigh in Feb 18th, my 2nd surgical consult Feb 28th and now I wait for insurance approval
  4. I went to my Dr today thinking it was my 6th weight in only to have his office call me later to tell me it was only my 5th appointment and August did not count. I have read other posts of this happening and I always thought "They must be really upset and disappointed." Now I am upset and disappointed. I know it will happen eventually, I have to keep jumping through those hoops, but it is still upsetting.

BMI of 32 and getting a sleeve?

It seems like a lot of people on here either hit the weight they are happy with and then use higher calories to maintain or they stop losing and have to exercise more or eat less or both to continue to lose. You will most likely know what will work for you I wish you good luck and a speedy recovery.

    Is there anything more depressing...

That would be very depressing. My hair wasn't super long but I did have a lot cut off last week in preparation of what's to come. I would rather see short strands coming out rather than longer ones, if that makes sense.

    Guess what I can do!

    YAY!!
  19. Both your suggestions sound great. Thank you for the ideas.

    First initial appointment on Monday!

They will also tell you what is required before surgery. If you have to wait the 6 months to complete the weigh ins and other tests just believe me when I say the months fly by. It doesn't seem so at first but it does. All the best to you, keep us posted

    having surgery tomorrow!

No advice (still pre surgery) but I wish you the best of luck and a speedy recovery
  25. I read somewhere on here that some people get vanilla or flavorless Protein shakes and stir in a bit of sugar free pudding. That way you can have different flavors. I plan on doing this after surgery when I get bored. I bought the flavorless shake from the unjury website.
