  1. Would you ever know what came of your eggs? I think the knowing (or even not knowing) would drive me nuts. Minus the whole being pregnant for 9 months....its almost like being a surrogate mother.... I thought about that but of course they had height/weight proportion requirements for being a surrogate.

I say if you're ok with it then go for it! And if you are REALLY ok with it then its a win win situation. Not only will you be 8,000 closer to you getting your plastic surgery but you'll also make someone who is unable to conceive very very happy.

  2. I'm still pre-op, and I love Chobani yogurt! I took the pear flavor to work the other day and could not eat it... it was horrible to me! It is the first one I did NOT like. With that being said you didn't miss much. I've read some people on here say that they mixed the plain yogurt with polaner all fruit, and that is something I want to try. I love Jello sugar free pudding, so I know I'll have lots of that around when it is time.

LOL... glad i didnt miss anything. i was real excited about it too until i saw the sugar content.

  3. I'm not a fan of fat free or sugar free anything. I tried this today.. Infact it ended up as my dinner.. It was delicious and very satisfying. Coconut cream, chia seeds, a few raspberries and a tsp of raw cocoa nibs. I only had about 3oz.. I'm still full!!

Not a fan for sugar free either but i tolorate it. the jello/puddings have a weird after taste to me so i'll have to try this one. Went back to the store and grabbed a

Jell-o mousse temptation to try...not to bad

  4. 3 weeks post op. on the 'mushy food stage' now. usually have cream of wheat for Breakfast or scrambled eggs. For lunch some sort of creamed Soup and for dinner I can have canned meats (chicken, tuna, salmon) mixed with lite/fat free mayo. cant stomach the tuna, havent tried salmon but i'm loving the chicken. its soft and goes down nicely. mashed potatoes, fat free refried Beans, mashed sweet potatoes are also on my list.

  5. I was told that to in one of the seminars i took. Im 3 weeks post op and yes i get hungry (im hungry right now) . I can tell you its nothing like my hunger was before. My portions are are less than half of what they used to be. I have noticed on days when my Protein intake is where it should be, i'll go for HOURS without being hungry and will need to remind myself that I havent had anything in a while. Today i was in a hurry and left my Protein Drinks at home :( and Water is just not cutting it. So i wouldnt say it completely removes hunger for everyone but it has helped cut down on cravings and my food intake.

  6. most companies have varity sample packs. that way you could try different brands/kinds and flavors to see which one you like without being stuck with a bunch you dont. I chose a brand called chike. they have a orange cream flavor that tastes like a creamsicle. love it! I also have the Bariatric Advantage brand. i find it to be less chalky than some others but if i had to choose between the two i'd stick with chike

  7. My hospital stay was 3 days. Had trouble keeping anything down. Lots of nausea some pain but it was all manageable. From what I've read on here everyones experience is different. Some better than others. My first few days were not all that great but it does get better and it does get easier. It's still early on in my sleeve journey but I'm loving my decision to have it.....no regrets
