  1. Also remember when you eat/ drink broth that counts a liquid as well.
  2. Im about 1yr post op and I can remember trying to get in the 60 and it was tough but doable. I would set a timer on my watch to drink 4 oz cup every 10 min. That helped me until the swelling in my sleeve went down.
  3. I was around 700 cal a day but it was tough to get that in. I am 1 yr post op and now stay around 1200-1500
  4. Liquids and if you are a few days post op I would ask your doc. I know it was a few days for me to have a bm but if your concerned its probably better to ask and get help early than to wait.
  5. I never had that particular problem but just keep in mind your body is a healing machine. You should get better everyday and notice you can drink more and eat a little more as time goes on. Just stay hydrated as much as you can. How much fluid are you getting in ?
  6. I ate crushed ice and it helped me with my thirst.
  7. I will say that I am bias on eggs. They are my favorite and always have been.
  8. I'm not 100% sure but I would guess your grumbling because your stomach was cut. I had grumblings for days but it was just acid
  9. I drink a few glasses of wine every now and then. I haven't had any issues with it.
  10. I don't want to tell you to not listen to your medical providers but they each have their own ways. I was allowed eggs 3days post op and anything pureed. I had my surgery at Vanderbilt. I had no issues with anything post op as far as good goes.
  11. Just out of curiosity where did you have your initial sleeve surgery?
  12. 11 months out and not one single regret. The only thing I could do without is acid reflux. However my reflux did get much better after I lost about 70lbs. Now it is only if I eat too late. So its not unmanageable or out of control
  13. Well I guess being hairy has been paid off for once for me.
  14. I thought I would save some money too. But eating healthy is expensive but its worth it in my opinion.
  15. Greek yogurt helps me with my protien intake. Also I love egg whites.
  16. Things will get better. Just like what everyone else said. Stay hydrated and just try to get the protein in. I'm not sure what your post op diet is but during the early stages of my diet Greek yogurt was my go to.
  17. What are you eating ??
