  1. Suddenly I'm faced with what appears to be major gallbladder issues and already a recommendation to have it removed. I am on antibiotics and wondered what others experiences are with this issue. Have you had a problem that was controlled and or pushed off by antibiotics? My Sleeve surgery was 9 weeks ago today (down 43 pounds since surgery now) and I am finally supposed to go on a vacation. I hope to at least delay any gallbladder surgery for 2 weeks. Any feedback on any related experiences is appreciated!
  2. I had high temperature over the weekend and going for an ultrasound today. My symptoms are similar to what yours were and seem to indicate gallbladder issues of some sort. We're you able to delay surgery with antibiotics at all?
  3. Same thing ere, I lost 25 pounds in the first 2 weeks and now 15 total min 6 weeks, so just a hair over 2 a week. Still eating low calories and exercising. Seems crazy.
  4. You look great, fantastic progress! I need to get brave and post pics soon
  5. I started a walking one week after surgery and about 15 days after surgery started super light workouts with a trainer and since then I have made great strides. Surgery Date: July, 23, 2013 Weight on Day of Surgery 285 pounds Current Weight 245 pounds Down 40 pounds (8 weeks)
  6. Unfortunate my iPad doesn't show the picture you posted but that s great!

I saw rice listed as a potentially difficult food, I hadn't thought it expanding, but that is really good feedback, thanks!
  8. My biggest complaint for a solid 5 weeks post surgery was that I was tired all the time. During this past week, I have noticably been less tired (tomorrow is 6 weeks since surgery). I am not at my normal energy level. but finally it is improving substantially. I am sure yours will too!
  9. Wow that is amazing, I'm very jealous! Great for you!!!
  10. That's great, does that include any pre-surgery weight loss, or is that all since surgery?
  11. I am at about 800 calories and my nutritionist at right about 5 1/2 weeks out.

Wow, i think I could eat one order's worth, but who knows... I probably am a bit early, I'll call my Dietician hotline on Tuesday, but appreciate the feedback

Thanks, I figured the rice was not good right away, I was more uncertain if there was a bacteria issue. (meanwhile i was sushi junkie before surgery)

As I close in on 6 weeks post op, I was wondering if anyone has heard advice regarding eating sushi? Thanks
  15. I stalled in my third week, but then started resuming. Your body fights the weight loss, but the biggest thing I recommend is walking every day. I use "Map My Fitness" on my iPhone to measure and since my 2nd day out of the hospital, I have walked every day, usually about 45 minutes but on days I was really tired I still tried to get to a half an hour. I think that has really helped me in many ways!!
  16. Congrats on having the big step in the rear view mirror, and I hope your feeling good soon. When i was in the hospital I got an infection, unrelated to the surgery, and ended up being there for 6 days. The best thing to do is walk around, even the hallways in the hospital.
