  1. Sleeved 8/27/13...weight loss 38#. Seem to be stalled last couple weeks with a loss of 3#. I am worried I am doing something wrong. I am only able to get in an average of 500-600 calories...50gm protein/ day. I have occasional nausea/ no vomiting/ but do have pressure & some pain in my chest after eating or drinking. I feel drastically tired and drained which is probably dehydration as my H2O intake is hanging around 25 oz/ day. I cannot seem to get the meals' date=' Protein drinks & Water all in. Help!![/quote']

Hey I was sleeved 8/29 and only 20 pounds down so far. I was constantly beating up myself because I'm not losing weight or I can't get all the liquids and protein in and I realized it's not worth me losing sleep. Please do not be hard on yourself this is a process we can get through this its hard especially when you're working, healing, ql be wf e a and taking care of family and really getting back to your life. We cannot focus on our weight day in and day out otherwise we would become crazy which I feel like I have been through this process.I wish you the best and you losing weight and I know that I am proud of you for losing over 30 pounds. We don't want to lose too fast then we will come up with other things to complain about....we have to rock our journeys!!!

  2. I had my sleeve done 9/4. Recovery is going great. Felt weak the first 4 days and just minor soreness at one incision. Feel great now. I have followed everything to the tee, pre op and post op. I am getting all of my Protein in and fluids and just started puree. My NUT said I may not be getting enough calories and to drop one Protein Shake and get the protein from foods now that I'm on puree. I started doing that yesterday. I have lost 6 lbs. since surgery (plus 9 lbs. pre op), and now have been at the same weight for 4 days. I also have been walking. I have read so much about stalls, but mostly around week 3. Why am I having one at 6 days? I worry I'll have another one at 3 weeks. Getting discouraged, but I keep trying to tell myself it will come off, but still frustrating:( I am very grateful for the great recovery though:)

Yeah I am having the same problem and had mine 8/29. It is fristrating but not looking at the scale everyday is helping me this week...we can get over this because its going to work. Think about it we have to let out body heal before it can really work, just because the incisions are healed fdont mean our insides are.

Are y'all getting on the scale everyday? If so why??? If your on a stall take the batteries out of the scale and throw them across the street. If you keep seeing that stall every morning when you step up on the scale it's going to keep you discouraged. I weighed Sunday for the first time in two week. Keep off the scale!

    LMAO...you are so right !!!!!

  4. I too was sleeved on 8/29. I have seen some early August sleevers say the third week is always a stall-out, but that after that they start losing again. Good luck, and just keep going

    .

I was sleeved on 8/29 and I have been at a stall since 9/09 really weird. However, I campare myself to the bigest losers participants they loose so much the first two week and then struggle between the 3-6 weeks.lol.I hope that my body is just getting adjusted. Keeping a postive attitude has helped me through this part:)
