It's horrible
Im sure with time it will get better, I know my family may feel like they are suffering an dI haven even had my surgery yet, I just replace all unhealthy snakes with fresh fruit, and vegetables. I also replace all soda with crystal like. If they want something saity there is peanuts , all ice cream has been replaced with sugerfree popsickels. So fat so good I have not heard any complaints.

4 months out and falling off wagon
Hi I have not had my surgery yet, but I am making changes now so that it does not be so hard after I get to the surgery time. I know it may be hard but try to remember why you had this surgery in the first place. Get rid of all your triggers, if your stress out, go for a walk instead of eating, began a journal, try something new that soothing such as a puzzle , knitting, painting etc. And find a good support group. Good luck I know you can do it.

What was your 6 month pre-op/insurance required diet like?
Hi I felt the same way you did, I just wanted it done, I have to do a 6 month weight management also for my insurance. I was placed on a 1500 calorie per day , informed that they want me to loose 20 pounds, and to workout. I have been on this plan for almost two months and I have began to loose weight. I am confident by Jan 2014 when my 6 months is up I should be down the pounds and hopefully more.

Starting to second guess myself
Hi this is a personal choice for you to decide and no one else, this is a life time changed, that will help you live longer and healthier. No offense but I would concern myself on what is in the best interest of me not my fiance. Good luck.

I am embarrassed
I think its no ones business, if you do not feel like sharing your personal business then dont, it is your own business no one else. I have not told my coworkers because honestly its none of their business and I do not discuss personal issues. The only people that know is my husband, , parents and kids. Just remember you do not owe anyone an explanation.
