  8. I have been diabetic since 2004 & I also have a very strong family history of diabetes in my family on ky dads side. At first they out me on oills but I was too stubburn & refused to accept I was diabetic so didn't take long to end up on insulin which for the oast 4 years I was on 200 units a day plus janumwt plus invokana (might have spelled it wrong, sorry) so I was dosed up pretty high on diabetic meds & now at almost 5 mths out I have not had to take anything at all. Hope this helps you some but also always keep in mind that everyone's progress & outcomes are all different regardkess of which choice you make on which surgery to get. I wish you the best success with which ever you choose to do!!!!
  9. Oh yeah they can be killers as far as oain goes. I had one about a month ago & I was sure there was something really serious wrong. I couldn't even pee at all. The weird thing was when I first woke up I was able to pee fine then about an hour or so later the pain started & just kept getting worse then when I tried to go nothing would come except a lil dribble here or there & that made the pain even worse. Waites for my mom to get out of work so she could drive me to the hospital. I was thinking a kidney stone thay had got caught & was blocking me from going but nope after a few hours at the hospital & a bunch of test the doctor came back & said I had a severe uti. Which suprised me because I had no fever nor any signs before that day but was so happy to feel better by the next day. I really hope you start feeling better very soon. Try to increase your water intake..

  14. The best part of yesterday was when I walked into my aunts house who has also been my best friend since I was 10. She married my uncle later on & also became my aunt... lol... anyway when I got to her house she looked at me & said " oh my god... I did not recognize you... you look like a completely different person" it had been about a month since I seen her last.made me feel good! Still not use to the attention & compliments I have started to get though. I still see the 321 lb me & I do not notice the 64 lb loss yet when I look in the mirror. Sorry I am rambling now. Glad everyone enjoyed their thanksgiving & everyone looks fantastic!!!

I am 4 mths po & am down 64 lbs & I feel great. I am so thankful for my sleeve & I enjoyed the company of my family talking, laughing & watching them all over stuff themselves lol.
