  1. Well the first surgery that i had i had no pain just a bit sore never even filled the prescription for the pain meds. Three Weeks later my second surgery results were so different! My incisions hurt bad and they are still sore two Weeks out i just try to rest and take some of the pain meds prescribed.
  2. They sawed my new sleeve to my abdominal walls i'm in sad shape but i'm looking to get back into the groove things here in the next week
  3. I felt the same pain one month out so i went to the er and come To find out my stomach filpped :/
  4. I dont know what size he used. I don't know what a bogie is?
  5. I could defiantly have it worse but i had my sleeve placed on the 15th of July and one month later i went to the er with pain on my right side... Afraid it was paincritist or gullbladder (spelling sucks), we found out my endo-oscopy that my new sleeve had flipped and flopped rightside up i had a revision and had my new sleeve stapped and sewed to my muscles in my and around my abdomen walls. Now that this has been done I feel so much worse off than before. I was expecting for the same results and now i just regret my decision altogether wishingi never did this Sorry jist a,little rant :/

  7. Here i am three Weeks out and going under the knife again...the pain is simply unbearable! Getting my gull bladder taken out, i just really wish they did it all at once :/
  8. I'm having the same pain its on my right side right under my rib cage... This pain is very excruciating! I cannot take it, i have to walk around and even if i lay down its still painful
  9. I hope everything is ok, please do keep us posted... I will keep him in my prayers too!

  12. Has anyone had there gull bladder removed after your sleeve? How long after? Mine hurts pretty bad and I'm only three Weeks out :/ doc said he'd prob have to remove it and I'm afraid its way too soon for another operation I'm sad
  13. That's so funny you posted this because i just had a similar experience. I slow cooked some peaches off my tree and only put my finger in to taste the syrup... Ooh buddy, serves me right i was in the bathroom no more them 5 mins later. Who would known even a taste will get you in to trouble with this sleeve, we will learn. This is all new to us and re-learning how to eat as an adult is very difficult considering all the years put into eating all the wrong foods.
  14. I so badly want to eat a sandwich does anyone out there have a sub for bread? I've never craved a sandwich in my while entire life...
  15. My bmi had to be a certain limit... In fact this last procedure i was one number too low, but the still approved me
  16. I get 6 eeeks off, which is amazing because by the time i go back to worki will be completely healed and would have taught myself how to eat again! I get disability
  17. I have medi-cal and got the Lap band and most recently got it taken out and had it revised too the sleeve all through medi-cal.
  18. I have one too! it's pretty annoying & mine hurts the RN at the Dr office told me to bind my stomach. It does help but goes right back to hurting after i take the binder off
  19. Congrats! I was also scared, but it is a life changing surgery and scared is a perfectly normal emotion at this point. Good luck to you on your journey! The first couple of days are hard but nothing you can't work through! Live, love, laugh!!!!

  21. Denise, I found that too! Erica, Thanks i love avocado.. Yummy... I'll have to try that out in a couple of days when my stomach is settled from this episode
  22. This is so sad .. I'm so embarrassed to ask my doc what's happening... He is so handsome There's gotta be something we could do... If anyone has good advise please give it!!!
