You lost 30lbs in 3 weeks?!! Wow!
Yeah, there were a couple of days where I gained a pound or two, but then I figured out that I needed to keep up with the Miralax, and then I'd drop what I'd gained the next day. Constipation's no joke! I'm anticipating the dreaded "third week stall", but I'm ramping up my Protein and Fluid and hopefully, I won't stall at all.

Sleeved 10/28, and I had some trouble determining how much was too much of a sip. I tried a Camelbak bottle, but I kept having gurgles in my chest. My surgeon said "no straws", but the rest of the sleeve community said they use them with no trouble.
I switched to a Tervis Tumbler without the straw, and I prefer my Water ice cold. I actually prefer Water over anything else. It took me about a week to get the sipping thing down, and now I can take a small mouthful without pain or gurgling.

No gas issues, foamied once, started soft foods today.
I'm not weighing myself anymore...too much pressure, and I get too down on myself. I'm going by how I feel and how my clothes fit.
I track everything on MFP, and I'm at or over my daily Protein requirement, as well as getting my fluids.

I didn't have any gas pains post surgery. Don't know why, but I didn't.

27 days after my surgeon submitted my paperwork and clearances, I got the call today that I've been approved! The next call I receive will be from the surgical scheduler with some possible dates! I am so excited!!
For Michigan Straight Medicaid, I had to have an echo, EKG, stress test, chest xray, A1C labs, other blood labs, and a psych consult. No 3-6 month medical diet.
I'm 5'9 and my BMI is 45. I have HBP, I'm pre-diabetic, I have arthritis in my hips, knees, ankles and neck, venous insufficiency of the lower extremities, stress incontinence, and random rashes. I've had estrogen-positive breast cancer, which let to a complete hysterectomy. My thyroid function is perfect.
I cannot begin to tell you how thrilled I am and how determined I am to do the hard work ahead of me!
WOOT!!

I'm in the same boat! I'm 10 weeks out (sleeved) and I've lose 43 pounds since surgery. I know that 43 pounds isn't anything to whine about, but I sure would like to lose a wee bit more each week, you know? Slow and steady wins the race!
Hang in there!
