  4. I changed doctor's also because I was not happy with her responses on my health and WLS. My second dr did not agree with weight loss surgery for me at first, but after a few years and my dr becoming one of the bariatric board members she started supporting me. 5. I like all the compliments and I do not personalize it if people who are not close to me might not say it exactly as someone who I have a relationship with. I do not allow others to step on my joy as I have made changes in my health because of my weight loss. If others think I look better then before so be it, I know I look better than before. I look like the person I was before I let food control my life and destroy my health!
  6. I had pain on the right side after surgery, it go less as the days went by. It flared up again after three weeks and I started taking liquid tyenol for the pain. Dr said it was the internal stitch that he gave me. I hope you start feeling better soon!
  7. Happy Birthday to you and your son! Enjoy your special day.
  8. I noticed the weight loss about 3 weeks out my face and lower legs appeared slimmer. I will be six weeks out tomorrow my butt is getting flatter, shoe size is a 1/2 smaller and I cannot wear my wedding rings, which I have had re sized twice before, my bra size is also smaller. My highest weight as an adult was 240 pounds. However when I started this journey towards the sleeve I was 207. I went to a party yesterday with my colleagues and everyone noticed. The highest weight they ever seen me was 225.
  9. Whatever your age after surgery you have to be committed to exercising and changing your relationship with food! Good luck with your decision.
