  1. Thanks guys I'm feeling so much better than I expected. My chest and stomach feels sore but thats really where my pain is and getting up and down. i do have this small tube coming out of one incision that is like a pain ball I don't have to press it because its constant. But that is annoying. Doesn't really hurt and I know it's there to help but I don't really like having something hanging out of my tummy lol I just got home so I'm just trying to relax
  2. Came to hospital for 6 am but they didn't take me back till like 9am. Got my medicine and it was lights out! Don't remember anything besides waking up in pain just burning in my chest. I was able to sleep for an hour and woke up feeling better. Just got finished walking down the hall!
  3. Waiting to go in! Very nervous but ready
  4. Good luck I am also leaving in about an hour to go have surgery!!!!!
  5. I go in tomorrow morning for my gastric sleeve surgery!! Can't wait! Excited.. Nervous all into one!
  6. My surgery is also tomorrow morning I go in for 6 am!!! Chapstick I hear is a must, I will also be bringing in my iPad,a nightgown, robe, shorts, socks

  8. My doctor only requires me to do a liquid diet the day before? Is this normal? How will I know my liver is okay for surgery?
  9. Thank you I appreciate! We're you required to do any diet prior to the clear liquids day before? I'm just curious? Because I see a lot of others were and its making me nervous why I wasnt
  10. I am having my surgery on Monday and I e stocked up and chicken broth and vegetable broth but is there anything I can put in them like sea salt or pepper???
  11. My surgery is on Monday and my doctor didn't require a pre op diet but he did have me start protein shakes so that I'm side to them. Midnight tonight he requires me to start only clear liquids.
  12. Please post on this thread on Monday as I will do the same I would love to know how y'all are feeling!!
  13. I'm not having trouble sleeping yet but I think that will for sure kick in Sunday night! I'm suppose to start my liquid diet at midnight tonight

  15. I couldn't be more excited, nervous, scared, and so many other emotions! My gastric sleeve surgery is Monday!! I am currently 23 years old and mother of 2 , a 3 yr old girl and a 6 month old baby boy! My weight currently is 250 and I am so excited for this new journey to begin! Any advice?!?
