My date is Sept 10th..(fingers crossed) I have been doing a lot of research as for what I need to buy for my liquid diet and ideas to make my shakes taste better. I already have my list for what Im bringing to the hospital. I feel like I'm missing something. Any ideas? Ive yet to buy my multi vitamins and my calcium chews. My next appt I will need to buy my shakes and begin my liquid diet. I would love to have some friends who are taking the same journey as me..someone who can relate..thanks in advance!!xoxo
  7. Sleep study and the followup are very important appointments that almost caused me to fall behind!!! You might want to get those sooner..the egd and evaluation of ur gallbladder is def a learning process even if you don't get your surgery you will know how you stand when it comes to your body.
  8. Every insurance is different however some require you to have a certain BMI on order to qualify for WLS. My insurance requires me to have a bmi of 35 or more and at least one co morbidity like sleep apnea or high blood pressure. I'm not an expert but that's what I have learner so far. The Surgery will help us reach our goals! Best of luck to you!!!
