  3. Hey guys I'm from San Antonio Texas looking for sleeve buddies..
  4. Ive found a few but sounds like there's more. I even tried the search engine on here ..probably google can help too. Thanks in advance
  5. That was the first thing that came to mind. Ha
  6. My psych told me that even after being sleeved I can still gain back everything I lose. She said its my behavior habits and eating the wrong foods that will not make me successful after the surgery. We need to change our lifestyles beginning with our minds. Nothing like putting your body through all this pain and stress thinking the sleeve works on its own and then gain the weight back. The sleeve will help you in the beginning and it will restrict the portions you eat however in time as you learn what foods can stay down ..that's when the bad behaviors kick in and your back to point zero again. My Dr said a girl ate mashed potatoes and gravy and after 7 weeks she gained 15 pounds again..that's where the idea of "quick fix" comes Along and people misjudge us. Its a challenge and hardwork and is not an easy fix..just a tool to help us. Best of luck to all of us..
  7. Sept 17th here with Dr carcamo from south Texas surgeons...any feedback??

  10. I would like to know too please . For some reason when I google my doctor and try to read the ratings the page kicks me out as if they did that on purpose. I went to vitals.com and that's where they kicked me out trying to read them...
  11. Hey guys! I'm preop and I'm looking for Vitamins..my Dr office is pushing them Bariatric Advantage products like people selling girl scout Cookies lol. I'm going to buy a 3 month supply of the BA chewable multi formula.but mu question is should I buy the BA Calcium citrate chewy bite for $30 or is there a better deal somewhere else? Each bite is 500mg of calcium cottage with 500 IU of D3 and its a 90 count bag? What Biotin product is the best? And best price? Where should I buy the b12? Are there better ones than others? My doctors notes says the Multivitamin contains aprox. 500 Mg of calcium the rest needs to be supplemented. It says all vitamins should be chewable.. What are you taking both preop and post op? Do they make you gain weight? Thanks in advance y'all are awesome

  13. I'm embarrassed to say I don't know how many hes done. I know hes been in the business since the early 90s and he works for a center of excellence. I have read so many problems about the lapband myself..I just don't like the feeling of my doctor not being confident in the procedure. Hes the only center of excellence In Texas..I'm going to do my research. Ive lost 65 on my own before starting this liquid diet. Maybe its a sign I shouldn't get the surgery...hmmm?
