  1. Your story sounds just like mine, I had to look make sure I didn't write it. I'm in the same boat just praying about what to do. Acid reflux is so bad almost feels like a volcano sometimes. Long term on medication that may lead to other issues later or esophageal cancer from the heartburn or get the bypass and deal with dumping or malabsorption. What to do.... I've gained almost all my weight back, but I never lost all my weight in the beginning anyway, Dr said I should have had the bypass from the get go never told me that before.
  2. Your right. I need to keep trying. Working out more anf and more protein. Thanks.

  4. I was sleeved May 2013. Start weight was 239 I'm at 180. 59 lbs lost. My Dr said this is all I'm going to lose. I've been here for 3 years. I workout 4 times a week. We are very active family. I've been so disappointed here lately that I didn't lose more. I went from a size 20 to a 14 and still at a 14. Still have my protein. Now I'm thinking about asking my Dr about sleeve revision. I see my friends that had the sleeve and they lost so much more weight and I know everyone is different but I was even more disappointed then. I hate to complain but has anyone else gone through this? And what do I do??
  5. Feel so good, I tried on shorts today that didn't fit anymore and they fit. That's why its worth it. What a great feeling, I had forgot what that felt like.

  7. I think its totally normal I was thinking the same thing I didn't want to be sick and or in pain. I have to say I didn't have any of that, no nausea, vomiting or pain a little discomfort but that's it. My Dr prescribed me a pill for nausea I had to take 2 hours prior to surgery he said it is prescribed for cancer patients for nausea. It helped.
  8. Hello I had surgery May 13, 2013. No regrets. I went through the same thing wondering if I was doing the right thing. My 2 week pre-op Dr is going over my blood work and everything is elevated. Glucose high hemoglobin a1c high cholesterol high the way i was going i would be a diabetic in no time at all, not where I wanted to be my mother was a diabetic and that is what I lost her to, she passed 4 days after my surgery. So I knew then it was the right thing to do. Starting weight 239 today at 212. I'm happy, all my numbers are going down, glucose is good a1c down. Hope you decide what is right for you. Good luck.
  9. 3 weeks post surgery and Dr said I'm down 30 lbs. How exciting is that!? I know without the surgery it wouldn't be possible.
  10. My Dr wanted me to get a cpap and I told him no until after surgery if I still needed it I would get it. My husband said I don't even snore anymore.

  18. I take the acid medicine first before anything. Sounds like acid reflux. I was like that before surgery. Try that on an empty stomach first then Vitamins later. Sent from my MB886 using VST
