  1. Hi Guys,

Well I did my surgery in August 2007 and I am in a slump. I lost 62 lbs in a year and a half starting at 307 ending at 245ltb. I got pregnant in January and lost my baby in March of this year. Throughout the three months I was preganant I bumped up to 265! I am having a hell of a time now dropping this weight and it is all in my stomach. I really need some help from some successful bandsters. Can you please reply or e-mail me with actual menus of what you ate Breakfast, lunch and dinner? I am really discouraged as my two year post surgery is coming and I am nowhere near close to goal. I have family members now telling me this whole things was a waste I want this to work.

  2. What are you excercise experiences? I have not been to the gym over three months due to shin injury. I am still in pain but now need to excercise I am trying to atleast maintain and keep active during this pregnancy. Do anyone of you excercise during pregnancy? If so what are you doing or what do you suggest?

  3. Hi Guys,

So I just found out I am pregnant. Well I have been banded for about a year and a half now and lost 62 lbs. Guys, I am scared, nervous, happy and everything all into one. Is there any advice that bandsters that have had babies with the band can tell me like weight gain, how to cope with the HUNGER:crying:

  4. I am looking at all of the successful lapbanders that have lost a lot of weight. I am wondering if you can let me know what you ate? Is there anything that you have cut out/eliminated? Have you changed the way you cook? I am at a stand still and would really like some assistance.

  5. Hey beautiful people,

Well today is a big day for me. I stepped on the scale today and saw 267.2. I am all emotional right now as this whole thing has been a roller coaster for me. First getting the band and coming to the realization that it IS A TOOL not a solution. Working on my emotions towards food and finally picking up excersice. Guys slowly but surely my life is changing right before my eyes and I cannot beleive it. My aunt is an excellent personal trainer in Calgary (Protein diets. I never thought in a million years that I could eat rice or oatmeal. When she told me this I thought she was NUTS!!! I am so happy as when I reach 260 I am going to Calagary for personal training with her. God I wish I had her butt!! I am feeling:thumbup: this morning! I am on top of the world.

And thank you all for your support during my journey!

  6. :thumbup:Hey all,

I don't know how many of you where there but the symposium hosted by Dr. Cobourns team was great. I learnt a lot about my band, complications and living with the band and more over emotionally what I can experience. I reallllly felt like I was not alone. I especially love the last speaker Carole Bertuzzi Luciani she blew me away. Did anyone else go...how did you all like it?
