I bought peppermint extract and put a lille with the chololate optifast with some ice....it has a nice taste...I also blend the optifast with vanilla extract, mixed essence, cinnimon and ice.....give it a try....you have to be creative with OF!

Please let me know more about aspriation?? What exactly is that...and how do I avoid that?

Andrew, I noticed you said you had to pay $100.00? Was that for a fill/defill? I thought those were free for five years?

I gues the higher your BMI is...is the longer you must stay on Optifast. I do feel drained as well BUT that would be from the reduction in calories. I remembered being on Dr. Bernstien (aahhhhh)...I was the worst to get used to. I have to make to sure to take my vitamins and potassium...that seemed to work. I made veggie soup last night and had pickles (I hope I am aloud to have them). I always unconciously wake up in the middle of the night munching on something...so I munched on a pickle!!! Well I also jumped on the sale and saw an unreal drop of 12 lbs..It has to be pee! lol. Take care y'all.

I have started by pre op diet a bit early...I am on a pre-op diet (liquids only) similar to Optifast...and I am HUNGRY!!!...I am at work now and feel a little dizzy. I don't want to ruin the diet....I really want to make this work....what are some of the things you all did to get through this? Pllleeeasssseeeee help!

Whew...I am wiping my brow...thank you all for the positive feed back...I am doin gmy surgery on August 7, 2007. I could of gotten a date of July 18....but I am a chicken lol....I know the place is amazing...it is one of the reasons why I went there...presentation says a lot to me....I did find him to be quite nice as well.

Hello, I am going to be banded in August...I hear a lot about food being stuck...what does that mean? What does it feel like? Do you feel like you are choking? What do you do when this happens? Any feed back will be great! Thanks.

Hey Bamalama, Hang in there...I am going to be banded in August I can only imagine what you are going through but trust me it will all be worth it the end....nothing is more important that your health and peace of mind...take care girl.
