Very well said! From my experience when I speak with conviction on my decision, the doubters become quite. It's amazing how some think they know so much better what is good for us than ourselves. Telling everybody about my decision to have this op has been liberating for me, as I have always been a people pleaser. Facing up to the doubters has started to help me become more assertive. This is helping me to be more confident in facing personality types that I find intimidating/ bullish. Go us VSG we will have the last laugh!

I have my date confirmed now for the 16th August whoop! Whoop! I start my pre-op diet 2nd August low carb, low fat. Wow thought I would be on liquids for two weeks so this should be fine. So excited and a bit nervous lol

I have taken some before pictures as well! I HATE them! Is that really me I thought. These pictures are going to be the old me, I will be looking forward to having the after ones done. Well I might have to peg the lose skin with a bucket of pegs lol. As lest I'll look better in cloths ha ha :-)

I sooo don't envy you! Such a difficult one! I have a teen who can detect a lie from the blink of an eye, though is a master of telling them lol. Don't get me wrong I love teens, though they get stuck in my teeth ha ha. Joking apart, I'm sure that they, will be glad to see that, you are ok after your op. I would say, it was for something that at the moment, I don't want to talk about and then leave it at that. They will properly be concerned, so just reassure them your fine. That way, if later on when the weight is vanishing and you decided you want to tell them, no lies need to be untold. I have found with teens trust is incredibly important. Good luck :-)

Sorry I can't help at all with your woes! You have both made me giggle like a mad woman, and all the other customer in Costa have moved away from me lol. Sure things will work out Canary Diamond! you deserve some good Karma after making me laugh, as for me the men in white coats have just arrived, so Karma is paying me back ha ha :-).
