I'm nervous but getting excited! I'm more nervous about the iv needle I dislike that the most! I'll be up at 8 for sure because I have to find a way through the snow to get to the hospital! Keep us posted!

Thank you! I was afraid of possible cancellation because if the storm headed up here to NY tonight through Friday!! Friday will be here so fast and then we will be on the side of this!

Anybody have the link and/ or can tell me what to pack for the hospital?? Last weekend before surgery trying to get things done!

I'm a preschool teacher!!! I feel guilty leaving the kiddies... I'm trying to do as much as possible now with them.

Preop diet sucks! First few days were rough! I got lucky because they put me on antibiotics during preop so they added more foods I could eat. I'm a teacher so I'm trying to do as much work now as I can and leave lesson plans for when I'm gone. How are you doing?

I can't believe it! 1 week from today.... Getting nervous now!

Omg! That sounds like heaven right now!!! Thank you guys because I was doubting myself today I was so sick from the meds and couldn't eat much. I'm hoping the next 12 preop days will be easier.

OMG thank you for the info! I had such a meltdown today about my stomach. Is it just plain Greek yogurt?

Today is day 2 of preop for me and it sucks! On top of the diet they have given antibiotics to get rid of an infection. The combo is hell. I have headaches and gas.

My liquid diet starts tomorrow. I'm scared and excited about everything. I can't believe it came so fast.

I am so nervous and excited and anxious! This just became real. I have so many things to do and I'm scared of having complications, loose skin and losing my hair! In the end it's worth get my life back and get rid of this damn diabetes! Thank you everyone! Any tips on what to take to the hospital and what to do now? Thanks again!

I had a temporary date until I heard from insurance but now it's official and ins approved! February 13 here I come!!! This is really happening....
