  4. I've been checking my sugars all day! I'm so happy they haven't gone above 127 today and I haven't taken any meds!!!!! I have to call all the docs tomorrow to make appts but so far this is a good sign. I've been diabetic for 9 years and got to a point I was taking 2000'mgs of meteor in daily plus humbling and humalog. I'm only 32 and couldn't imagine my life forever like this. I hope to get rid of all of it. I even had some numbness and tingling in my hands and feet due to my weight and sugar. I want to have children and be healthy which further made me choose this surgery. You are all encouraging me with your stories I thank you for that.

  8. Congrats to u both! My sugars have been up and down. I know it's only been 3 days since the sleeve but I hope I can come off of meds entirely. At the hospital I hard a couple of readings in the 200s.
  9. How long after getting the sleeve did you go off diabetes meds? Did you have to lose a large amount of weight first?
  10. Thank you everyone. I thought I was doing something wrong because I wasn't getting that feeling when I drank.
  11. An somebody describe the feeling full sensation? I don't think I've experienced yet. I am on day 3 post op. Today I've had 1 cup of tea, 1 ice pop, 1 1/2 cup of broth and a bottle of propel that I was sipping on all day. Is that too much?
  12. Did eat a sugar free fudgesicle today veeeery slowly and new tummy was ok.
  13. Yes! I like the warmer liquids better than the cold and definitely the water! If I add some lemon juice to my water I can drink it just not plain. The morphine made me achey and pukey after they took it away yesterday but much better today and at home!
  14. I slept all day and night yesterday at the hospital too! Concentrating on getting my liquids in.
  15. I ate all the broth! And half a cup of tea!
  16. Passed my leak test!!!!!! I've never been so happy for broth!
  17. Definitely have the discomfort in my chest. Only the walking helps me

  20. Nothing since midnight last night! Ice cubes yes but not to eat just to wet my lips. It could be head hunger because I don't physically feel hungry. I do feel very thirsty.
  21. How are u? I'm recovering well so far but I'm starving! To my surprise they also repaired a hernia and gave me heart bandages! I've been walking around and did 5 laps already! Feeling good and I hope you're doing well too!
