I had revision surgery on March 16 as well, i feel you're pain. I keep seeing everything happy at the dinner table while I am left to the side hungry with a bowl of cream of wheat.

I just had surgery on Monday and I am already back at work. I work a desk job and I am able to get up and walk for 15 min every two hours.

My friend you are doing great. Your stats are in average and some start slowly and kick it up later in later months while some loose quickly in the beginning. Congratulations and keep going. Don't get discouraged. The wonderful news is that we all decided to begin this journey and take back our lives. My doc always tells me keep your Water up' date=' Protein up, take your Vitamins and add in exercise. The rest your body will do in its time. Good luck.[/quote'] your 100% right. It just makes me upset at times when I work hard and make smart choices ( food wise) and I don't see the results. -
Any suggestion to help my weight come off. I don't know what else to do. I feel like I am failing

Some of the people in my options class had him, he's great! Are you ready?

Yes I agree with you, they do scare you more then they should. Having surgery was the choice I could have made. I am a bit of a slow loser but at least I am losing. I am three months post op and I am down 50 lbs including the one week pre op diet my dr put me on.

I was sleeved on March 25' date=' 2013. So far I have lost 45 pounds. I am very happy with it so far and hope to lose another 55 to reach my ultimate goal.I went to see my surgeon for my three month check up. He was happy with my loss but very disappointed in my exercise. I told him I was going for 60-90 minute walks about 4-5 times a week. He said, "Walking is activity, it is not exercise. You need to get your heart rate up higher."
Ok, fine. He is right, I know. But ever since he said that I feel as if walking just isn't good enough and I gave up completely doing it. Now I do nothing. Its like if its not good enough then why even try. I feel guilty and ashamed of myself but its almost as if why do it if it doesn't count. I cant get myself to workout in the gym, despite a high monthly fee and prepaid personal training sessions. I just lack any motivation now.
How do you get back on track? What worked for you? What kind of exercise do you do? I need a swift kick in the rear I think!! I want to tone up but Im afraid of failing. Im afraid of being sore. Hell, I may even be afraid of succeeding.[/quote']

I was sleeved on June 18' date=' 2013, and there are some weeks where the scale doesn't move, but so far I've lost 70 pounds in 10 weeks. I recently switched my fitness routine from Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds to Hip Hop Abs.[/quote']70 lbs that's great!!

I was sleeved on June 25. 10 weeks today. I have been at a stall for 2 1/2 weeks. Ugh! So frustrating. Trying to stay positive.I was sleeved June 28, was on a 5 week stall. I went back to liquid and started losing again

Sounds like people you work with don't have enough to think about. Isn't there anyone having an affair' date=' had gotten pregnant, is splitting up -- something else for them to gossip about?[/quote']
Lol, no so far I am the the main topic! I was even told isn't that surgery suppose to make u lose weight faster. I have left work mad, crying and in arguments with people.
