  1. I know me too but I think it's normal. We all will be fine. Better than fine. We are going to be awesome
  2. Hey super fab. I too have some of these same feelings. My biggest fears are not waking up and getting dehydrated and blood clots. But I know without a shadow of doubt that we have all made a great decision for ourselves to be healthy Good luck to everyone going in tomorrow. I too go in at 5am. Surgery time is 7:30
  3. Me too. I go at 7:30am. And am so ready. Just need to finish packing the few things I taking with me
  4. My surgery date is here. Tomorrow morning. Have to be at the hospital at 5am. Surgery is at 7:30. So excited
  5. Alrighty now. It is almost time. In 12 hours I will be getting sleeved. Soooo ready for this I still need to pack though This thread is awesome and I appreciate everyone on here and all your experiences you each share
  6. Good luck tomorrow ladies. I am right behind y'all on Tuesday. I am sooo excited. Not nervous yet. Would love to hear from y'all if you can. I will keep y'all in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow. Cannot wait to join you
  7. I'm Tuesday too:). I'm not nervous yet either. I have done well on my 14 day pre-op diet, lost about 12 lbs. sooo happy about that. Start my all liquid diet tomorrow. We all got this!!!!!
  8. WOw, soooo glad yore back home and ok!!! hopefully the primary care doc can figure it out. Get some rest:)
  9. OMG, I hope you're ok, please keep us posted if you can
  10. I am still pre-surgery too, I'm scheduled for Tuesday. But wanted to congratulate you as well.
  11. I can have non-starchy veggies on my pre diet. I think that has helped. But I haven't eaten them every day. Did have a nice salad tonight though (lettuce carrots and cucumber with basaltic vinegarette dressing ). It felt like cheating, so good. I had almost forgotten what a fork was..LOL!!!
  12. I like eggs and spicy foods. But I'm trying to keep positive thoughts that I will be able to enjoy my spicy chicken again some day. With no bun. Cut up. And only 1/3 to 1/2 a patty at a time. Lol. I figure a lifetime of health is worth not being able to have those things again. And speaking of health, my insulin has been cut down to 1/4 of what it was the day before my surgery and my sugars are staying between 100-140. It's incredible. OMG, that is awesome... It's amazing what this surgery can do in such a short Time.
  13. Heather, this too will pass, you will overcome it because you are strong. You have made this decision for a healthier life and it will not come easy. Just take the time you deserve to heal and you will reap the rewards,. Now next week after my surgery, I may need someone to tell that back to me. LOL!!!
  14. I'm in concord. Scheduled for Tuesday in Charlotte
  15. Too bad we aren't at the same hospital. We could race around the floor trying not to tangle our IV's. Why do they want us 2 and a half hours early. Bad as catching a dang plane. I hope so they can take there time on the the IVs to get it the first time, I don't faint. But I'm what they call a hard stick. It once took them 17 tries to put in an IV. I was not happy.
  16. I'm on the 18th too. Excited and anxious
  17. My surgery is Tuesday at 7:30am. Have to be at the hospital at 5am. So ready for this.
  18. I hate to here your tired, but am glad to here it's not just me... Couldn't figure out why I am so tired all of a sudden. On a side note, got my CPAP machine today, not looking forward to using it. I cannot believe it has a modem on it, so they can tell if I am using it or not...ugggg Cannot wait till Tuesday!!! Jen, so glad to here your doing well
  19. OMG!!! I'm glad it is working out for you. Like SF said, please relax. Also try to get a good nights rest if you can. You are going to do great and everything will be fine
  20. I am 9 days into the 14 day liquid diet and have lost 8.9 lbs. That much less I'll need to loose post op.
  21. I'm pleasantly surprised at how I am getting through it. It's day 8 for me too and tonight we had dinner at my parents. They all had hot dogs with home made chili and slaw. Yummmm. It smelled good. But I never even had a 2nd thought. I had my soup and then Greek yogurt for desert and was satisfied. Even better I was proud that I made it through a family dinner with no issues.
  22. Hubby got me the kind that dissolves in water and was totally tasteless. So it seemed like just regular water. So that Was good. Today was the first day feeling backed up. I'm sure it won't be the last but trying to get all the water in too
  23. Hey guys. I have been super busy and haven't been able to he on here but when I read this. I had to reply. I too am having the same constipation issues. My surgeon did tell me to try miralax. I have only used it once but it worked. He said this was gentler than milk of magnesia. So he wanted me to do that instead.
  24. I'm on the 18th too. In NC. Scheduled at 7:30am but have to be there at 5:00 am. I cannot wait
