She had a RNY bypass. Its a type of gastric bypass op

On a much sadder note' date=' on the Gastric Sleevers Australia FB page we have been told about a fellow Sleeve Sister who passed away today from complications with her operation. There are no details of name or circumstances surrounding this tragic news.

I hope that we can all send our thoughts and love to her family and friends during this very difficult time.

We all know that this surgery is very risky, however, it is rare for things to turn out so tragically. I'm sure this lady would want each of us to continue to do our best to make our 'Sleeves' a success, just as she hoped to do before her surgery.

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that this lady actually had rny bypass. Was out of hospital for 5 or 6 days and went back in for possible leak and died next day during surgery. Very very sad.

Cause my bmi is 60. It sucks doing it longer than others but its worth it in the long run

I have lost 5.9kgs in first 8 days so gotta be happy with that. It is much easier this week. Im very excited and wish it was sooner but im also very nervous

I dont like the shakes shaken. I put shake powder with the Water and a whole tray of ice cubes in a blender. Its so much nicer. Good luck

My aunty gave me an awesome tip. Put shake powder in blender with half Water half ice cubed. Becomes like a smoothie anf its delicious. I dont like them just shaken. Ive messaged u on fb cause I cant add u. Might be in your others folder

I actually really like the Soups. Lol I would be happy to pay for them. I have read alot about people getting constipated on Optifast but im having exact opposite. I have also refused to go back to shops. Cant handle the temptation

I have nearly the entire Optifast range. The Soups are delicious and do help with the carb cravings. Just not sure how im going to get through the next 4 weeks. I didn't have to start till tomorrow but started a week early. One week or day at a time

That would br awesome. Im 6 days in on Optifast and im really struggling with carb cravings

Dont feel bad, my pre op diet is 4 weeks. I am on day 6 so far and craving carbs like u wouldn't believe. I can and will be strong

Im being sleeved on 8/8/13 and looking for a local sleeve buddy
