I thought I was alone on that. I have surgery today and I am more worried about not being able to see my baby for a couple days than the actual surgery. My daughter is two and we have never been apart for long, especially not overnight. I was afraid I was being ridiculous ( you know the dramatic 1st time mom type! Lol) glad to know others feel the same way.

Got sleeves this morning! One minute they put an one gym mask over my mouth and the next minute I'm done! Yeah! Relatively low pain... Not as much as I thought. No gas pains until after my last wall, but it's not too bad either. Only glich is they won't give me broth or SF Popsicles, which they said we could have in the pre-op class. Only ice chips. Other than that, feeling great about my decision to do this! Hope you are all feeling well and recovering quickly!
PS - looks like I'm down 15 lbs from my 2 week pre-op diet! Yeah!

Yes...the clear liquid pre OP diet really sucks...I thought it would be easy...boy was I wrong! I've never seen so many food commercials in my life, but Jello has been a life saver for me

Oh I love the idea of adding a gift note! I'm buying one for my sisters birthday gift as well because since I had surgery she's been really working hard on working out and eating better. It is cool that the fitbit syncs into myfitnesspal I bought the fitbit scale right before surgery and I love having everything sync together. Good luck on the 9th. If it makes you feel better when I got out of surgery I said I never want another surgery again but at 5 weeks out I can say I would do it all over again.

Im sure you may feel a little disappointed but remember everything happens for a reason. Sometimes we dont see or understand what that reason is but just have faith that it'll all work out the way it's supposed to! Good luck and God bless!
