  1. So aggravated!!! Scale showing 211.0 this morning, that's a 5.5 gain from last Friday and not to mention the scale showed 203.5 on Thursday. I have been battling a kidney stone this week and I haven't been able to exercise but a 5.5 gain. Ugh!!! I think it's safe to say I am not going to meet my goal but hopefully I will pass this thing over the weekend and I can get back to my diet and exercise Monday.
  2. Weighed in Friday at 205.5, Thursday was 203.2, ugh soooo aggravating! Looks like I'm not going to make my goal but I'll be happy with anything under 200.
  3. Last week - 210.3 This week - 207.2 Down 3.1 A ways to go to meet my goal but at least I'm going in the right direction.
  4. Today's weight 210.3, down 1.2 pounds.
  5. I was sleeved 10/2/13, today I completed the first day of couch to 5k. This is a big accomplishment for me as to say I was out if shape is a big understatement. I kept pushing myself and I did it. So excited!
  6. CW 211.5 Goal - I want to be under 200#, I'm going to push myself and say 195.
  7. Ugh! I gained this week, 210.5, only a pound but I like when the scale goes the other way. Time to get back on track and get my whole family healthier. Definitely in for the Valentines challenge and I would love to be under 200 by then.
  8. Weighed in this morning at 209.4, I was at 206 this weekend which made a solid 40 pound weight loss, dang holidays. Lol
  9. 210.5 this week, only a 0.9 loss, still a loss though. Not sure how it's not more because I have been so sick these last couple of weeks. Consumer very little and very little of it has stayed down. I guess my body is holding on to what little bit I have it. Plus no exercise due to illness, I actually miss exercising, never thought I would say that. Keep up the good work everyone!
  10. 211.4, down 5.5 pounds this week after a couple of weeks in a stall.
  11. Stalled this week at 216 but I am really sick and unable to exercise so I'll take it, better than gaining any day.
  12. If it's not too late I would love to join in. Starting weight: 216 Goal weight by NYD: 205
  13. My doctor told me it was the muscle growing back together and any exertion would aggravate it. So try to take it easy and allow your body some time to heal.
  14. Congratulations! You are doing fantastic and your transformation is amazing. I am only 3 weeks out but I hope to have some amazing pictures like this.
  15. I went Friday to have my drain removed, my surgeon requires them for a week following surgery. Hubby took off work to drive me as it is an hour away. Got there and there was a note on the window saying the office was closed until Monday. I started to freak out! I found the number to the main surgical department and the lady at first told me I would need to wait to Monday. I explained that I am not a local and hubby had to drive me. She took my info and promised to call back. I was in tears, I don't know if it was the thought that I was going to have to leave the drain in or the fact that the office didn't bother to let me know they were closed. 15 minutes later I received a call to come to the hospital to have it removed. A resident came in and removed it and I was on my way. About 2 hours later I received a call from my surgeon who was in Arizona at a conference apologizing and admitting it was his fault. Another call today from his nurse apologizing. Other than all of that, I am doing fantastic! I can't wait until Wednesday to have puréed food.
  16. Yum! Thanks for sharing, I am a pumpkin junkie!
  17. You will do great! I am 5 days post op and really believe that a positive attitude has helped my recovery. I was even released from the hospital a day early. I really thinking walking us the key, make yourself get up and do it. Best of luck to you and you will be on the loser side in no time.
  18. I am 4 days post op and feeling pretty good. So far no major complications and I even came home from the hospital a day early. My surgeon requires everyone to wear a drain for a week post op, it's annoying but I guess it's a good thing. I am having trouble getting all of my water and protein down. Every time I drink I feel like I need to burp for it to go down, hopefully this is temporary. Sleep has been an issue, I seem to be up every couple of hours through the night.

  20. On my way to the hospital. So excited! Best wishes to everyone. Next time we see each other we will be losers!
  21. Yesterday was my last day to eat what I wanted. Had a good lunch and dinner, didn't snack at all. My hubby said that maybe I am ready for my surgery since I didn't have a desire to stuff my face. Clear liquids only for the next two days, Wednesday can't get here soon enough.
  22. I bought EAS advantage shakes, I've heard the were the best. I tried the Unjury and really liked them too.
  23. Getting excited! Went shopping today bought all of the stuff for my pre and post op diet.
  24. A week away and I am so excited! My surgeon only has a preop diet 2 days prior to surgery. My birthday is Sunday so I am going to enjoy it to the fullest before I start my liquid diet. So ready for this journey and glad there are others on my day. Where is everyone from? I am from Charleston, WV, having my surgery in Huntington, WV.
