Styrax makes an awesome cookies and cream protein mix.. I mix mine with ff milk and it tasted just like Oreos dipped in milk.. Yummo

I would be living if I said that I am not a bunch of emotions right now. The overbearing feeling is excitement though. I have to be at the hospital at 11:10 for a 12:10 surgery. I have survived the liquid diet, I have survived the criticism from all angles about my decision, I have survived all the hoops I had to jump through, and I will come out on top with this surgery. I love my kids so much and the thought of never seeing them or hearing their little voices again is enough motivation for me to make it though anything. I wish all my fellow 27th sleevers smooth surgeries and speedy recoveries! See you all on the losers bench!

Got a call from the hospital this evening.. Surgery moved up.. Have to be there at 11:10 and surgery at 12:10.. Not moved up by much.. But hey I will take an hour.. Good luck tomorrow to all of my fellow 27th sleevers..

I am super excited for tomorrow.. My grandma which doesn't approve of the surgery called today with her last ditch effort to get me to cancel.. And my daughter is home sick from school so she's quarantined to her room.. But I am gonna make the most of today.. Are the rest of my 27th sleevers ready?

I am so ready for Tuesday.. My bag for the hospital is for the most part packed, fridge and freezer is full for the kids while I'm in the hospital, and letters wrote to everyone just in case something happens.. I don't think I'm forgetting anything.. I know I'm doing the right thing for me but part of me wonders what my kids are gonna do if something happens to me..they are only 8 & 6

It's not that you have only lost 13 pounds.. It's that you have lost an amazing 13 pounds! 13 pounds is great.. Keep up the great work

So I went to my family doctor today and he put me on an antibiotic and Claritin d.. Said I should be good for surgery on Tuesday.. Yeah.. So excited..

It is fun.. congrats on the weight loss.. no one would ever guess that you have 5 kids..

I have six days until my surgery... yesterday I started to develop a slight cough. I think it's just allergies.. every year around this time I get stuffy when the corn(A LOT of farm land around me) pops open.. so I called the surgeon to see what I could take.. all they told me was to go to my family doctor and get it fixed or they will have to cancel surgery!! EEEEEKKKK.. noo anything but that!! I know that it's for my own health and safety, but it would majorly suck! I have an appointment on Friday with my family doc to confirm that it's just allergies. But I was curious if anyone else has had this, if so what did you do?

You can get through this.. they have food all the time here at work.. you and I only have 6 days.. don't sacrifice all the hard work that you have done for a short moment of fake bliss.. you got this..

Congrats on the date.. I think the EGD is a requirement for the sleeve.. I had to have one.. no biggie.. your in and out and done! Good luck to you

I am 28 and I have never: * been on a cruise * waxed anything other than my eyebrows * lost my baby weight * bought anything smaller than a size 12 (and those are my inspiration clothes) * been ski diving * bungi jumping * traveled outside of the US * painted my toenails with our having to adjust my fat or getting out of breath * been in a wedding dress ( been married twice) * not been the fat friend * been the hot girlfriend (you know the one girl out of a group of guy friends that is the hot girlfriend ) * been in a hot air balloon * not worried about money * been debt free * been to an NFL game

Well happy happy birthday huni.. Sorry that you are feeling icky.. But look at it this way you are on the losers bench and around for another great year. Splurge a little by going to GNC and getting you some cake batter flavored protein.. Get dolled up and go out on the town with girlfriends.. Hope your day gets better
