  1. Sooooo perfect for me! I have been searching for days about cheating, how much my sleeve can hold, my obsession with "no sugar added" fudgesicles (I can eat 10 a day if I'm not mindful-extra 400 calories at 5 weeks out). Last night I promised myself I would wake up determined today...and here you were!!!! Bless you! ❤
  2. Sleeved on June 18, and was remorseful and uneasy until Saturday. That was the first day I actually got all the necessary protein, fluids and vitamins! My daughter and husband could not believe it; suddenly I was "back". Talking, laughing, feeling completely normal-PTL! Have only lost 36, but I'll take it!!! So relieved!!! Hang in there!
  3. Starting third week, lost 9 + 19 preop, still so sad and regretful. Can't reply to well wishers yet. I want to cheat every minute I'm awake and can't imagine this will work for me. Not a positive reply, but want you to know you're not alone! So confused about fluids and protein...who knows if I am getting enough?!? Hang in there!
  4. I had mine the same day...felt great days 1-2, miserable days 3-5, and better yesterday & today, so it sounds like different for all of us! I am mostly tired of dwelling on this and want to just move on, but here I find myself looking for more answers! After perseverating on this process for a year I told my family I want to stop talking about it on July 1. No more questions; I don't want my identity to be WLS Lady! I have read and researched it to death, and yet I'm still comforted by reading all your posts! I know...it makes no sense! ????
  5. On Surgery Day, through the night and the next day was phenomenal! Could not believe how good I felt; looked forward to walking and ice chips! However, once I got home tables turned; vomited every time I took pain meds so I stopped. Now just so weak, lethargic and depressed...still using oxygen, surgical hose and the drain...please someone tell me it will get better! I've lost 28 pounds in nearly three weeks, and even that does not seem worth it to me!! Did I just make a huge, expensive mistake?
