  1. I just received a phone call from my coordinator. They are putting me on the schedule for surgery for 10/31. this is a tentative date pending insurance approval. now I'm feeling a bit sick to my stomach! I've been jumping through hoops since july and now that I am this <> close, I'm feeling sick! How warped is that?????
  2. Funny you should say that, Lou. I called my insurance to check on the progress and was told they have no record of it. Called the surgeon and is still sitting on the coordinators desk! She hadnt submitted it yet.

  4. I have cigna as well and my paperwork is being sent in this afternoon. The ins coordinator told me her last couple of patients that had Cigna took the full 30 days to process. I am still going to call them next week to make sure they bot the packet and are working on it.

  7. Have you been sleeved already, or starting the journey? Today I finished up the rest of the required testing, feel really good about that! I am going to try to drag out the next step in the apnea testing so.....maybe I can be sleeved before then and wont need the headgear. What are your goals and wants with the sleeve!

  12. Welcome to the forum! I bet you're so excited! I still havent gotten a surgery date. Going through the pre op testing and supervised weight loss program. I finish that at the end of september and then they will submit to insurance. There is alot of info on tjis site and everyone is so willing to answer questions. In addition a history search will help you with info you are looking for! Where are you located?
  13. Ha! My cousins have lived off Lloyd Rd for 50 yrs, went to lloyd Rd School and HS. (Go Huskies). I live in PA but work in Eliz Nj. Not too far from you You had the surgery how long ago? Some I know is 9 wks post op and has lost 58 lbs.

  15. I am still pre op. hoping for an october date. My ins required a 3 month documented weight loss program and am finishing up the 2nd month now. Have only lost 5 lbs so far with NO CHEATING. cant wait for this to be done
  16. I live a little over an hour from Middletown, but there is someone on here who was sleeved at Good Sam in Suffern. I'm originally from Rockland.
  17. Ok so i have graduated to biking. I rode bike with my son and had to ride really fast to keep up with him. 20 min later and i am Worn out. Whew, what a work out. We are going to go again in about an hour or so. No pain no gain. ????????????
