Also did you go to any of the support group meetings @ orange regional??? You would have met lots of people who had surgery by him there. They have the meetings on the first tuesday of every month in the conference room on the bottom floor @ 7:30 pm. Vicki handles the financial part with your ins company & she is fantastic as well. Laura I believe is the name of the nutritionist who runs the support groups & also is the one you would have your one on one meeting with. She is very friendly best of luck to you & your journey with whatever doctor you choose to use
Thank you so much for he information. Hope all is well with you.

Um....yes' date=' snide remarks are bad....but differing opinions are always welcome and should not be discouraged.
If you want to keep it all "pro-god" I suggest you take it into the religious sub forum. Seems only fair.[/quote']
She was not making it pro-God like you put it. She simply said she was thankful she was not preaching.

God bless you for that.

It's just so much easier being invisible. Time to get rid of all your fears. As you shed the weight start to liberate yourself of fears. Fear will keep you from reaching your goal. A lot of time we sabotage ourselves for fear of the unknown. Talk to yourself. Get self help books. Go for counseling but don't let fear hold you back. Been there done that. It's so liberating to just let yourself go and enjoy each pound your body releases. Step into your future with confidence. There will be ays that you have setbacks but then you just dust yourself off and keep going. We will never be perfect. Just enjoy your sleeve and enjoy the ride while you step into a new era in your life.

I feel awesome. I had no problems at all. No complications. No pain meds when I left hospital. I was up and about 3 days after surgery. Just got really tired I was asleep by 8pm the first couple of weeks. It's amazing how great I feel. I'm very blessed that it was very easy for me. I have read on here a lot of people had lots of complications and I feel bad posting that I had none. Good luck to you. I hope your recovery is as easy as mine was. R u also seeing the drs in Middletown?
I am seeing the docs at Crystal Run Healthcare in Middletown but thinking of switching. I just cannot find info on Dr Judd. I wanted to know what his success rate is.

Anthoula did they make you do a pre-op?
-
I have been seen in Crystal Run Healthcare. Dr Judd. I can't seem to locate anyone who had surgery by him.
-
Anyone from the Hudson Valley Area in NY? If so, who did your surgery?
-
I don't want the by-pass either. That's why I was asking about the gerd. My doc says the gerd gets better as you lose.

Thanks ladies.

I have really bad gerd. I am afraid that having vst will make things worse. Anyone else have this problem? Did the sleeve make it worse or better?
Surprised at how fat I am

I know exactly what you are talking about. I started to get sleeved in 2012 and chickened out. Now I'm about to see the doctor again. I'm beyond disgusted with myself for not being able to take control of this. It's been all my life. Enough is enough.
