  1. I'm 4 weeks out, I love my sleeve. I haven't had any diarrhea problems til today but I am pretty sure it was self induced. I was traveling and forgot to eat before I left. I stopped at Arbys and got mozzarella sticks- breaded and greasy, only ate one and through out the rest. Junk in, junk out. I set a reminder to tell me to eat, I'm never hungry. I wish I had made the decision earlier.

  2. I was sleeved on the 29th. And here at 15 days out my biggest struggle is with fatigue. I am soooooo tired. I thought this procedure was to help me have MORE energy. I have MUCH LESS!!!!!

I am thinking Vitamin B12 is the one that is supposed to boost energy levels. If it lasts more than a couple days, i'd check with the doc, could be dehydration or anemia.

  3. I have been eating deli meats, Greek yogurt apple sauce, some Soups, canned chicken & tuna (chewed very well) cottage cheese, have also done mashed potatoes, I too add Protein. I have the most trouble with deli meats. The most I can consume at any time is 4 oz. Having trouble getting in more that 400 caps in a day, but doing about 60 gr protein. I don't loose on days I get less than 50 oz of Water in.

  4. How are the sleevers from the 23rd doing...I am so sore and still dealing with gas pains.

I was sleeved on the 23rd, i'm feeling pretty good, though tired. I haven't had a lot of gas other than what I'm swallowing.

I have found that SF popsicles are easier to get down than Water today, I have to burp every time I take a sip of water.

  5. Surgery went well today. Was wiped out through most afternoon, but woke about 5:00 and had tons of energy.

Probably did 30 laps around the hall tonight. Very little abdominal pain, but my back aches from a disc I ruptured 4 years ago. Walking is really helping.

I am down 17.3 lbs since starting pre op. Dr says everything looks great. Husband had been amazing. I feel very blessed to have had this done. Thanks to all of you. Dr Hoehn in Kansas is amazing. I love his staff and the facilities.

  7. Anybody feel like they are nesting (like before you have a kid)?

Yesterday I woke up early, washed bedding, washed & folded 5 loads of laundry, vacuumed, laid new carpet, moved furniture, assembled a new bed, went shopping, cleaned 2 bathrooms...today I'm emptying out all kitchen cabinets, wiping out & reorganizing them. We remodeled are kitchen last winter, and for some odd reason, I decided now was a good time to move everything to where I want it. 2 days til surgery. It would be nice if I had this much energy after.
