How long was your hospital stay?

I stayed two nights. Normal stay is one night, but my surgery was late in the day, finished at 5pm, so they kept me the extra night just to be sure. I went home at noon after the 2nd night.
  2. I went through Bluepoint Surgical group in Woodbridge, VA. We're retired military. I was told Tricare didn't cover sleeve? has that changed?
  3. Thank you everyone. Your sharing of your stories has helped me so much.
  4. I'm wondering how long it took for the bag to empty? Did you have more pain after you removed it? I've had minimal pain, and have maybe a day or two left of the meds in the bag. I'm afraid once it runs out I will have more pain. It's really doing a good job keeping everything numb, I can touch my abdomen and its partially numb, so I'm afraid of what it will feel like once the meds are gone.
  5. I had surgery on Tuesday, and its still full, definitely smaller, but about the size of a small mandarin orange. Hoping it will be gone soon. I'm tired of being hooked up to something.

    Just started my journey!

Me too! I was sleeved on 6-11. I feel great! I am able to get in my liquids and protein with no problem. Great job on liking the protein drinks, most I've tried are gross. Where do you get the celebrate ones?

Im 38 years and never ovulate

Have you seen a fertility specialist? I was diagnosed with PCOS 14 years ago, I am 39. My periods started being abnormal at age 16. 4 years after I was married, we decided to try to get pregnant. I knew something was wrong, because I didn't periods, so I went to my Dr. He referred me to a fertility Dr, who put me on Clomid. Clomid stimulates your ovaries so they release the eggs. I was able to get pregnant 4 months later, and again 4 years later. I now have two kids, age 7 and 11. It can be done, you just need some help, and the right Dr to guide you.
  8. I thought it was odd too, but it was on my list of approved foods for the first 2 weeks liquid stage. They actually gave it to me in the hospital the day after surgery. Like you said, every Dr is different.
  9. Sorry Linda, I'm in Virginia. I am happy, just apprehensive, afraid I am doing something wrong.
