    Thanks! I cant wait! Unfortunately I do not have insurance anymore. BCBS covered my lapband when I had it (I was still on my parents Ins.) My tummy tuck (extended) is $9030 for EVERYTHING, and I will be paying that in cash :laugh: But I am being positive and I keep telling myself that it is all worth it..If I have to be poor as crap for the next year..well I will have a flat tummy :blushing:

    b- atkins bar 200 cal and coffee 50 cal l- a small small cup of chili and some salad probably about 350 cal d- .5 cup of stroganoff and .5 salad 300 cal s- weight watchers toffee bar 110 cal oh and a small glass of oj 100 cal 1110 cal today:thumbdown: but will try and stay just at or under 1000 tom. Tummy tuck in exactly one month from today..going to try and be in the 160's comfortably:thumbup:

    So I payed for my TT today...:scared2: Although It broke my bank and then some, I am very excited! I have had my band now for over 2 years and have lost just over 150 pds~ So I def. need one! I now weigh around 170-175 pds over the day..I have always held all my weight in my stomach and so I have most of the weight that I need to lose in the skin in my belly.. So my question to all is what should I expect? What kind of pain is it? What pain meds did you PS prescribe? How long was your recovery? Is there anything special to bring to the hospital?

    b- protein smoothie 200 cal l panera corn chowder.. half of bowl and took a few bites of the bread but sooked it in the soup 300 cal s- a few bites of a sourdough pretzel and cheese 150 cal d- 2/3 cups of soup with 1 mini wrap and qaucomole.. prob 300 cal altogether had my fill today but still needed solids bc I felt dizzy without it..but can def. feel the fill doing alot better! 950 all together!

    B- protein espresso skake 200 cal s- was kinda hungry bc I had the shake at 6 am made a low carb SMALL quesdilla 50 tortilla, 80 cal cheese and going to say mushroom and onions are around 10 cal but going to round all together 150 cal I made my lunch and dinner for today bc I will be at work for the next 10 hours.. L- will be a salad w/ black beans, veggies, lf cheese. ff dressing 250 cal d- will be the same thing as lunch 250 cal 850 all together...may have a cup of coffee with pumpkin pie cream for a snack this evening... will only be 100 cal though! so at the most 950 cal...pray for me! Im going to try and run after work but dont know how tired I will be~ Cant wait to get my fill on Monday!!!!!!!!!! I got on the scale this morning and weighed 181:cursing::thumbup::cursing: I guess I have gained 5 pounds this week:angry:

    Once again, I had a TERRIBLE DAY.. NOT even going to post what I ate, I am ashamed of myself!!!!:thumbup: The good news is, is that Im going for a fill on Monday (I desperatley need one) I know that after that I should be back to normal. Tomorrow Im going to def. do better.. Next Thur. Im going to my consultation for my TT.. So I def. need to get on the ball so I dont mess it up!

    I had the best time last Thursday night! I always loved dancing but now when people actually like my dance moves lol its great! I rarely go out bc I go to school full time and I am busy as hell! I really dont like the going out thing anymore either..BUT when I do I like to cut some rugs:lol: Last Thurs. my boyfriends sister and I decided we were going out with the our other friend and we were going to the local bar/dance spot! We got cutely dressed I wore a pair of black shorts from wetseal and a shirt from ross! I swear I had the best time and at the end of the night my boyfriends sister and I were dancing on top of a table and having the best time of our lives! I dont really care what people think! I live in a small town and everybody knows everybody so I saw everyone I know and they were amazed on how good I looked (was 330 now I am 176:thumbup:) Just get a cute outfit that you feel confident in and dance your ass off!!!! I actually lost 2 pds the next day after we went out!

    b- muscle milk lite and a handfull of goldfish.. Im going with 250 cal s- grande iced nf chai 200 cal l- bought a turkey wrap from school.. started eating half and the texture of the turkey made me sick feeling???? I have no idea where that came from? so I took the rest of the turkey out of the half of the wrap and ate it.. will eat the other half for dinner maybe? probably 250 cal bc it had swiss cheese d- either other half of wrap or something good and low cal! so far around 700 cals today.. dinner will be nothing over 300 ran this morning for a couple miles! FELT GREAT!:biggrin:

    Oh to be a "normal" shape!

    I have this same exact problem! Im about a 12 in the waist..and about a 8 in the hips? I weigh 178 right now and Im still not rightly porportioned! I carried my weight all in my stomach at my heighest weight (326) I am now looking into a TT which I hope that I can get done this December! :thumbup: Buying clothes is sooo hard! Maybe after this tt I will be able to buy clothes that flatter me!

    b- espresso protein shake 210 l- probably 3/4 cup salad with ff dressing and 1/2 cup of soup if that! 300 cal to be safe s- jerky 160 cal d- lean cuisine 300 cal 970 cal going to run after school if needed a muscle milk lite for snack 160 cal so 1120 at the max! going for a fill oct 5th:smile2:

    b- protein shake with espresso 200 cal l- 2 jalopenos stuffed with ff cream cheese no breading 30 cal and 1/2 tortilla with lf cheese and veggies.. 150 cal 180 cal all together s- muscle milk lite 160 cal d- 1.5 cup of 15 bean soup.. going to round to 350 cal s- Should of had but really wanted something good 140 cal weight watchers eclair. 1030 cals.. no exercise worked all day.. will run tomorrow! getting a fill october 5th!!! def. need one have been eating horribly lately but had a long talk with myself this morning!!:wub: going up and down between 178 and 182 in weight right now! Trying to lose 40 more pounds!!!:tongue2:

    Taste buds change after surgery???

    My taste buds have changed tremendously! I grave things that I hated before! Weird? I just started wanting about 3 weeks ago cucumbers and toms.. I never really likes toms. raw but wanted them! And cucumbers I hated them and one day just wanted one! Before banding I didnt like Beans either..I like green beans but thats about it! Now, I love all beans!! Its so weird! The bad thing though..I never really liked chocolate before banding! Now I do!

    Yesterday ate all freaking day again.. nothing bad just all day! I did ride my bike to the towncenter and worked out (running, and weights) yesterday! Need to go for a fill soon! today b- atkins shake w/ espresso 150 cal l- chobani greek yogurt (6 ounces) 140 cal and a handfull of coco roasted almonds 150 cal? d- going to dinner with my grandparents...nothing bad though!

    b- vanilla atkins shake w/ espresso 150 cal l- had lunch really early 11 am at school.. a tortilla wrap with turkey and swiss lettuce onion tom. and italian dressing ate the insides and prob. half of the toritilla and gave the rest of it to my bf... probably 300 cal? s- will have one when I get home nothing more than a 100 cal d- staying at my grandparents motorhome so my bf and I are going to ride our bikes to the town center here (3 miles) to have dinner! I will give myself 350 cal for that!

    b- slimfast 160 l- went to a local restuarant.. had the best food probably around 500 cal.. d- will be a cup of chili so about 300 cal The good thing about lunch is I rode my bike to and from the restaurant and rode all around town.. a good 20 miles today!:wink2: Probably will have a snack too!!
  22. I have been banded for 2 yrs at the end of August.. I love it.. I still have alot more to go (50 pds) but I should be there by next year around feb or march!
