  9. Had my surgery 8/14/13 and was 248. I weighed yesterday and I was 197.2! I was stuck at 206 through the holidays (didn't eat as well as I should have). As soon as I got back on plan the weight started falling off again. I'm down from a tight size 18 to a loose 14 in pants and from a 2x to an xl top (I'm a little busty). I'm so happy, feel great physically, and feel sexy again. You can do it people!
  10. That's what I say too. "Everything was great! I just have a small stomach and I'm stuffed." That's all the explanation they need.
  11. You can still nurse while on pain meds. I was on pain meds after c section and nursed.
  12. My sleeve does this too!!
  13. I am bipolar and got approved no problem at two hospitals. That is a really stupid policy. If BP people are stable, they're just like anyone else!!

    Nice!!
  15. Overall it was really no big deal. I've had 2 c-sections so the pain wasn't comparable. The sleeve pain was nothing really. I stopped taking the narcotic pain relievers after 4 days. Just take it easy and slow for a couple weeks right after.
  16. Where in NC are you? I'm in Apex. I had Dr. Enochs and gave had absolutely zero problems. I was sleeved six weeks ago. I'm down 28 lbs and loving it!!
  17. It just goes to show you that Americans are losing sight of what good portions are. Yes ours are less than normal, but not THAT much less that what it should be.
  18. My doctor does the length based on BMI and health history. For instance I was only 2 weeks because I had no health issues, but someone with a BMI of 50 something might have 4 weeks.
  19. Hope you get help quick. So glad to know that you know the signs!
  20. This is what makes me angry. Abilify is a lifesaver for me. I cannot imagine not having the insurance to pay for it. I hope you can find a way.
  21. I was very worried about things changing after surgery but they haven't for me! So glad for that. I'd definitely get in touch with your psych. Doesn't sound good.
