  1. Okay, has anyone been through the liquid diet that has lupus? My flairs are going crazy. I have the "butterfly effect" and my face is constantly red.
  2. Omg I am on liquids only too. I'm about to pull my hair out. This is super hard. I understand what you are going through. WE can do this!!!!!!!! WE are going to do this!!!!!!
  3. I will know for sure Monday, but as of right now I am scheduled for Aug. 6th or 7th! I started my liquid diet today. Hasn't been easy but I will do this!!! This girl need a bunch of prayers!!
  4. Oh lucky you!! I've had one carnation shake made with water, a bottle of water, and some jello. I'm pretty hungry but I can do this. It will be worth it in the end result!!! One day closer to living my life again!!
  5. DAY ONE OF LIQUID DIET......SUCKS!!!! I can do this though. I am ready to live my life again. Drink, drink, drink water and eat jello!!!!

  7. My goodness I bought Soup, Ostrim sticks, chocolate cake, nectar, the whole works! Now, I sure I wish I could eat it on this two week liquid diet that I'm on!!! Lol! This is day one and it's been a little tough. I will do it and make it though!!!!!

  9. I'm a teacher and have to be back August 12th! My surgery, hopefully, is either August 6th or 7th. It's going to be cutting it extra close. I'm a little worried!!!!

  15. I am also pre-op and can't wait for surgery. I have been through all the testing and more testing on top of that. Lol. I have my last test, EDG, on August 2nd. My surgery is supposed to be August 6th or 7th. I will know for sure Monday. Make sure and utilize this forum. I have learned so much from it and people are very willing to help with questions or just to tell their story. Best wishes!
  16. I'm in Oklahoma and my HealthChoice Insurance will not pay a dime! The sleeve procedure is costing me $16,000! OUCH!!!!!
  17. My two week liquid diet starts tomorrow! I'm so excited but nervous too. I know I can do this but a little support sure wouldn't hurt. Also, what did everyone pack in their hospital bag? I don't want to forget anything!!!

  19. You are at the exact spot I am at! Waiting in an EDG date, then surgery date. I'm sick to death of waiting. I am a teacher and this was supposed to be done before school started. Doesn't look good!!!
