  1. So sorry to hear what your going thru..Injury protein powder is also good Healing thoughts are being sent your way.
  2. Its so. hard to type my results I'm so stalled cw 218.4
  3. I'm going back to basics tomorrow, I've lost myself somewhere. Have been very stressed panning a big 50th party for my husband in March and have stopped doing me.... I log every day on MFP and stay under my targeted cars but I know my food prep has fallen back to old ways although my portions are very small, I think that has an effect on my stall also. So any way I'm going to do just shakes for a few day to remember why I had this wonderful surgery and "tool" and recalculate my efforts.
  4. Shells72 Hang in there... myfitnesspal says I'm always under caloric needs and in starvation mode. Not sure how your surgeon determined it but do whatever he/she says to make it o.k for your body. I love the challenge for the support and accountabitity even when I don't reach my goals.
  5. OMG stevia is awful... for the little sweetener that I do use, I use agave.
  6. Some days my sleeve Loves me more than I love it. When I try to hang out with my old habits and the fun I use to have with a food party.....my SLEEVE COP puts the brakes on. I'm almost 6 months out and feel like this hasn't worked for me as well as I wished. Lately I haven't been able to work out and have been suffering with a painful pinched nerve in my leg. I do log daily with myfitnesspal and average 900 cals daily. I've been stressed planning a 50th birthday party for my hubby and I think I'm in a slump. Sometimes I forget I had the surgery since I didn't have any problems. Its so cold here in New York and I'm feeling the Winter blues. I'll start to exercise and won't finish on cloudy days. Think I'm a little weight loss depressed. Hoping this will pass soon.
  7. My sister asked me if I got shorter, I said "No heifer I got thinner" lol
  8. Most mornings I have Unjury unflavored with a chobani Greek yogurt in unsweetened almond milk and put in my magic bullet a great tasting high protein way to start the day!
  9. WOW you look amaaaaazing, way to go such a inspiration.
  10. What a fantastic tale of the success of WLS brought tear to my eyes I needed to read this, thanks for posting.
  11. Late hoping the scale would move.... Nope same 219
  12. Nancy, Nancy Chillax, deep breath and positive energy towards your goals. We all have felt some of your anxiety. Believe as you already have by getting prepared for a Great outcome. Don't break yourself down with worry.
  13. Tell her yes I have skin-on-my-knee It sounds so stupid but say it and keep it moving. When she scratches her head just smile. She will get tired before you do.
  14. I have BCBShield in NYC and got vsg done with all requirements in 3 months
  15. Deb welcome You have found to best site for info and support. Congrats on your decision. I'm 19 weeks post op and this surgery vsg has save me from a life of constant pain and agony. You will do well I'm sure. Keep posting and searching the site. Good luck.
  16. I have two people doing the same to me and one has had wls and should know better.
  17. I'm a excellent Belcher...my hubby says "she's full"
  18. Great answers and suggestions.
  19. Wel I might have a different circumstance I have long thick dreadlocks which don't require hair brushing only at the roots. I wash and condition with Pantene and use natural oils to condition my scalp.
  20. Stalls do happen at three weeks..... just look at all the people on here who struggled with this after being told it shouldn't happen. I think its very presumptuous to be told this. Everyone is diff and responds slightly diff to the same surgery. Being told its not suppose to be is another disappointment in a already hard journey. Yes it can happen. And did for me and I cried and felt like a failure AGAIN. I thru pain had to give my body the love and time it needed to heal and adjust. Thank God I did and you will do well also.
  21. I refreeze using freezer paper then wrapped in foil, air is the culprit in any freezer. My fav breakfast is Greek yogurt shake made with almond milk unsweetened wit a scoop of unflavored Injury protein and some sort of fresh fruit. All blended together. You get great flavour and nice amount of protein and little fat.
  22. Haven't loss a strand...actually growing more than usual because of the biotin. I'm going on 5months out.
  23. Nice transformation already, keep up the great work your good looking and will look even hotter soon (;>))))
